There’ll be no more light rain (小雨) and cold wind in spring. The weather will be quite warm or even hot all year, with heavy rain and wind. The sea level (海平面) will be much higher.
We won’t travel by bus or by bike any more. Every family will have a small plane. No more expensive cars—it’ll be cheap to travel everywhere by plane, not only over land, but also over the sea or even into space. Maybe there will be traffic jams (交通拥堵) in the air.
Do you like long holidays Well, you’re going to like the future because machines and robots will do all the heavy and difficult jobs, and we’ll only do light and easy work. Working hours will be short so people will have long holidays.

3-D food will be both delicious and nutritious (有营养的). We can use 3-D printers to print some basic materials. 1 And we can go further. Scientists believe that we just need to turn on a printer in the kitchens and then we can enjoy our favorite food whenever we like.
2 5G network will allow many more people to get information. Big companies like China Mobile and China Unicom will start to offer 5G. It is said that 5G promises download speeds 10 to 20 times faster than 4G. For example, we can download a film within just 1 second. But with a 4G network, it takes a few minutes. There will be much bandwidth (宽带) and we can get unlimited information.
Underwater cities will provide more space. The earth is becoming more and more crowded. We may turn to underwater homes, which will be built as low as 15 kilometers below the sea. And the different temperatures at the different depths (深度) of the sea can be used to provide power for the homes.
3 For us common people on the earth, the dream of travelling around space will come true. In the coming years, spacecraft will be as popular as buses, trains and planes. We can leave our home and enter space to take an adventure (冒险). And even we will get used to living there.
A robot will be a part of life. Robots can do many of the same things as we humans do like driving cars. But they will be used in other areas as well. They will be able to think. Do you know that cigarette butts (烟头) are the most common rubbish in our life People throw about 4.5 trillion (万亿) of them into the environment every year. Cigarette butts can kill fish, and they are in the stomachs (胃) of sea turtles, birds and other wildlife. A survey showed that though cigarette butts were everywhere, people paid no attention (注意) to them because they were so small.
But now, Dutch company Tech Tics is planning to help solve the cigarette problem with its Beach Bot (BB). It is a beach-cleaning robot. It uses AI to find cigarette butts on the beach. Even part of the butt in the sand can be found. BB has four wheels, two cameras and two arms to pick up cigarette butts. The way this robot works is very simple. Once it finds cigarette butts, BB just needs to put them into a bin (垃圾箱). After it finishes cleaning, people will deal with (处理) the waste.
However, BB still can’t tell the difference between things like a cigarette butt and a small seashell (贝壳). We can use the APP Microsoft Trove to help it. Anyone with a smart phone can send BB photos of cigarette butts to help the robot learn to know them.
BB is able to pick up 20 cigarette butts successfully in 30 minutes now. Though the robot works well without wasting time, scientists still hope that people can litter less. If people stop throwing their cigarette butts onto the beach, robots like BB will not be necessary.
