本课的教学对象是九年级学生,具备一定的语言自主学习能力,能通过教师创设的情景迅速运用词汇。学生基本掌握了被动语态的用法,因此本篇阅读中出现的多处被动语态的句子对学生来说已不是障碍,关键的障碍是本文中出现的一些生词,需要学生认读,否则在回答问题是就是障碍。运用Mind-mapping是复述课文的信息对学生来说是一大难点

一、教材分析
该部分共设置了5项任务:第一项任务以问题讨论的方式激活学生相关背景知识(Section 1);第二项任务要求学生通过快速阅读获取信息(Section 2);第三项任务利用填图、回答问题等练习形式进一步加深学生对阅读内容的理解(Section 3);第四项任务要求学生对“play on China’s national basketball team one day”问题发表观点、进行口语训练(Section 4);第五项任务要求学生对某一项发明进行调查研究。
二、学法分析 本课教学主要从以下四个方面培养学生的学习能力:
1.通过标题和图片,预测文章大意和各段落的能力。从每一段落到整篇文章的理解。
2.运用字典,查找新单词的能力(主要放在预习阶段)。
3.利用脑中构图理顺文章的能力
4.合作探究的能力。
三、学习目标
1、知识目标:帮助学生学习,掌握本课新单词,理解课文内容。(通过本节课的教学,使学生掌握课文当中出现的重点词,词组的用法,以及运用本单元的阅读策略来理解课文,尤其是将本单元被动语态融合在极其真实的语境中,有助于学生进一步理解其结构,掌握其用法。)
2、能力目标:提高学生英语交际能力,培养学生利用脑中构图扑捉文章信息的能力。
3、情感目标:通过本课学习使学生懂得人类的科学发明创造了丰富的物质文明。培养学生的创造发明的能力和愿望。
四、教学重难点
1、教学重点:通过回答问题,填表等形式,培养学生阅读理解能力,以及运用英语完成指定任务的能力。
2、教学难点:学生运用英语交流信息,获取信息能力的提高。
五、 教学过程

1、根据教材的每一知识环节的特点.采用灵活多样的教学方法,始终给学生一种新鲜感,避免方式单一化。对所传授知识尽可能地利用实物、手势、配以图片可采用多媒体手段进行实际操作,这样就能收到事半功倍的效果,使学生变“苦学”为“乐学”。变“要我学”为“我要学”,才能提高课堂效率.促进学生发展的目的。
2、阅读教学的重点应该是落实在文本阅读上,教会学生怎么样阅读,感受文本的文化意义,体会作者的写作意图。课堂阅读应在阅读技巧和阅读能力培养方面下功夫。我觉得在阅读技巧和能力培养方面做的不够到位,在今后阅读教学中要把握语言知识的处理,把提高技能和阅读训练有机结合起来。

3、我认为这节课评价方式单一化,程序化。激发学生的兴趣,建立轻松愉快的竞争性教学氛围。利用学生好胜心强的特点,我们经常在课堂游戏中引入竞争机制。如:在导课时的活动中,让学生比一比谁是最棒的;在练习时,设计抢答题和必答题;在巩固新授内容时,设计各种有些来比赛打擂台,如:踩地雷、爬楼梯、火眼金睛等,让学生比一比谁是最棒的;比赛性游戏既鼓励了学生的学习积极性,又极大地提高了课堂学习效率。在课堂中,开展各种活动以激发学生的学习积极性、培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
4、我发现本节课堂教学的细节研究不够,这样可能对学生的学习效果产生影响。教师在引导提问时,增加或删减一个小小的环节,就会对学生的学习产生很大的影响。我在教学环节中,跨度过大的提问,会让中游学生感觉很吃力。所以做出的不多的修改,对课题就会更好一些。

课后反思
通过听课教师的点评,我认识到我的教学设计可以进一步细化,尤其所提的问题需要进一步明确. 同时,后面的问题也可以采用其它的方式呈现,避免总是以问题呈现,学生感到厌烦.
通过用观课量表对自己的上课视频进行了观课。通过观看发现还有不令人满意的地方:
一是上课前的“阅读准备”学生之间的不同之处还是非常大的,我觉得应该是缺少阅读的有效指导。
二是学生在理解课文时,受某些词汇的影响还是非常大的,课前没有做好充分的阅读准备。
三是学生理解课文时,段落之间的联系不少学生不能较好的把握。
四是教师帮助学生理解时,问题的设计应是难中易搭配合理,难度大的问题过多或是难度小的问题过多,都不利于学生较好地理解课文

本节课是山东教育版初四英语第四单元第四部分的阅读内容,是本单元前三部知识的升华,是单元教学的延续,同时,也是初三第一单元When was he born ? 之后,初中阶段系统学习被动语态的的第二个单元。
实施以学生主动参与的任务驱动型(Task-based activity)学习方式,设计了有趣的学习任务,让他们都能享受到学习英语的乐趣。让学生进行free talk以发展学生的听、说技能;谈论“ have sports”导入中心话题“ basketball”,并就这一中心话题进行open discussion完成课堂设置的有关本阅读中语言知识方面的一系列Task-based activities来体验和运用语言;然后要求学生通过小组讨论的形式进一步巩固所学的内容并共同评价活动的落实情况;最后教师引导学生将课文知识进行梳理延伸。
