Step 1:Lead in 同学们观看电视节目Animals World 的片头。 进行brainstorm,能够看到哪些动物? T: Let’s take our cameras and telescopes and go to the wild. Let’s see what happened their. S: Great. Let’s go. T: What can you see 主题意义下的教学模式。在引入部分,教师播放一段动物世界片头曲的视频展现大量动物,自然引出动物。
Step 2:presentation 1.通过动物特征的提示,猜测动物。 2.学习新单词。 S:There are so many kinds of animals. T: Which kind of animals did you see T: There is so much frog. We can’t see them clearly. Let’s take out our telescopes. Who wants to come first 这里做了屏幕互动。Ppt上呈现了6个望远镜。让学生上台来选择任意一个并点击,就会出现图片和线索,帮助学生猜测动物的种类。并且呈现了本课的大部分新词汇,为同学们接下来的听力以及课文理解做好铺垫。
Step 3:Listening 听关于电视节目Animals World 的小听力,回答问题。 核对答案。 观看Lingling 和Betty的课文flash视频,回答课文主旨问题。 听课文听力,回答细节问题。 Listening 1 T:Do you like animals S: Yes. T: I like animals very much. But we can’t get closer to them easily. What can we do S1: We can go to the zoo. S2: We can see them on TV. T: Let’s listen and finish following two tasks. 1. What is this week’s Animal World about 2. What animals are in danger? Listening 2 T:Animal World is so popular. But as for common people, where can we get closer to them S: Zoos T: Let’s go to a zoo to find them and finish two questions as follows: What are they talking about?A:They are talking about the zoo. B:They are talking about the panda. C:They are talking about the animals in danger and how to protect them . 教师和学生互动,同时引出主题get closer to animals。让学生猜测中国最受欢迎的动物类电视节目。完成两个小题。这里设置了屏幕互动,让学生上台来点击对应答案,提升同学们兴趣。 这里通过视频互动引出第二个听力(动画呈现听力文本。)以及细节,提升同学们听力能力。
Step 4:Post-listening 学生根据教师的提问回答问题,找到答案,表达想法,学习词汇,句型,语法。 Give students several minutes to let students read and finish following questions: 1: Why is Betty more interested to see the pandas in Wolong Panda Reserve (In the Wolong Panda Reserve, pandas have a safe place _______) 2: What does Lingling think of animals in danger (It is wrong to kill animals to _____________________________) 3: Why are many animals in danger (Wild animals don’t have a safe place _________.) 4: What does the notice say (Maybe we can raise money at school to _____________.) 阅读的教授做到师生互动,通过图片和视频的互动,让学生运用所学知识谈论动物为什么处于濒临灭绝的状态。并且寻找保护他们的方法。再读课文,获取细节信息,帮助学生进一步理解课文,有利于引导学生形成和提高自主学习的能力。 同时强调语法知识点动词不定式to do 的运用。
Step 5:Summary 学生跟着教师一起做课文总结。 T:Let’s do a summary together. 做课文总结能够让学生对课文有个更全面理解,对课文内容更深刻。
Step 6:report 1.观看一个保护动物的视频。 2.小组合作:想出保护动物的方法,以小组的形式做报告。 T: See a video to elicit the feeling of protection of students to protect animals. T: Talk with your group members to find out other ways to save as many animals as possible. 视频互动做好情感提升。 小组合作提升了同学们的合作精神,集思广益,报告的内容也是课文的重点句型,巩固了重点,也加强了同学们保护动物的意识。
Step 7 Homework 1. Read the passage after school and remember the new words. 2. Create a poster about protecting animals. (be creative) 作业是课堂学习的延伸和巩固,是所学知识的反馈。学生可以在做作业中巩固本课所学,掌握更多有关濒危动物及如何保护动物的信息。
