一、Lead in. Show a video:What were students doing at six yesterday evening 2.Ask and answer: What were they doing at six yesterday evening 二、Before Listening. Ask and answer:What were they doing at six yesterday evening -...was/were doing... 三、While listening. 1. Listen and answer: Who was reading a book and what’s the name of the book. 2.Learn new words: Guide students to think how Alice got into the wonderland (followed, fell down, hole) 四、Careful reading. 1. Listen and choose:Choose the main characters you hear in this story. (Answers:Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the March Hare, the Mad Hatter,the Queen of Hearts) Listen and match: ①Match the events of characters. (Answers: Alice-sit with her sister; the white rabbit-run; the Cheshire cat-sit in the tree and smile; the March Hare and the Md Hatter-have a tea party; the Queen of Hearts-play a strange game) ②Read and finish the tables:use the past continuous tense(...was/were doing...) Retell the story: ①Once up a time, there was a girl called Alice.One day...First,... Then,... Finally...
