The population of Lanxi was about 0.58 million in 2024. The population is growing slowly.
When population grows too slowly, we will face many problems. One of the biggest is the aging population. In other words, the population of old people in Lanxi is growing year by year because of low birth rates. As a result, there won’t be enough people to do all the jobs, or enough young people to look after the older ones.
Luckily, the government is now making a great effort to solve the problems with better public services. The government is now trying to attract more talents to work and live in Lanxi.
