本课时的主题是Animal Circus，是在第一课时Visiting animal land主题学习基础上的延伸，设置小朋友观看动物表演的真实情境，让学生初步运用核心词汇monkey, bear, tiger, elephant, panda和句型They can... 在本课时中，我们根据主题内容，进行了文本再构，设计小朋友观看动物马戏团的情景，既可以让旧知识在新知的学习中滚动，又可以激发学生的兴趣，让学生深刻感知本单元重点句型，并能初步运用核心词汇和句型来询问和回答关于能力的问题,鼓励学生进一步描述动物的能力:I like_______.They’re_______.They can_______.
一、教学内容：Let’s learn结合再构文本Watching animal circus
二、教学目标:
1.在观看动物马戏团的语境中进一步理解动物类单词，尤其是本单元出现的monkey, bear, tiger, elephant, panda和相关的描写动物的形容词fat, brown, fun等。
2.在语境中感知、理解并运用句型 What can they/bears/tigers/... do? They can_______. 等句型。
3.通过本节课的学习，让学生们欣赏动物和分享心情的快乐，让学生学会描述动物或询问动物是否会做某事，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，学会欣赏动物和与同学的交往。
三、教学重难点：
（1）准确朗读句子：What can animals do? They can_______.(stand on a chair/ play kongfu/…).并理解意思。
（2）学生能在真实的环境中运用新句型询问对方。
（3）学生能在设计好的其它环境中熟练运用本课的重点单词和句型。

通过与课文有关的歌曲、字母歌谣和对话迅速让学生进入英语课堂学习中，激发学生学习英语的热情。
介绍今天的评价机制，如果学生看得认真、听得认真、说得很好，可以得到贴纸，培养学生听、说和看的良好学习习惯。
通过小组讨论复习旧知，并引出今天的故事背景：参观动物马戏团
整体呈现对话文本，通过让学生听录音，回答问题，培养孩子的听说能力。
通过更具体的图片，让学生再次感受语言，并为上一个问题的答案做铺垫。
通过设计连线题，并呈现文本。让学生带着问题跟读文本内容，让学生深刻感受到句子所表达的意思。
到这一步板书基本呈现完毕，学生可以通过板书的提示，描述他们喜欢的动物。让学生活用并巩固新知识。

教师把全班分成4大组，让学生比一比，看谁在听说读演方面更棒。

T:（在S2回答后的总结）你对自己存在的问题很明白，非常好。老师建议你在记单词的时候可以给单词分类，比如颜色的单词、表示动作的单词。在读单词的时候按照老师教的方法：划分音节去读。
学生在老师的引导下完成讨论，并小组内展示新对话。

S1:我在说我喜欢的小动物的时候，总是被同学纠正要加s，我解决的方法就是多说几遍，说的时候要提醒自己想一想。
S2:我在描述我喜欢的小动物的时候，有些词语不会说，比如brown和skip都是组长教我的。我总是比别人说得慢。我解决的方法就是平时要多记单词。
五、作业
让学生回家与家人或是伙伴谈论喜欢的动物，进一步把知识转化为交际语言。

教学后记：
依据《英语课程标准》，我们的教学目标应以以学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础，培养学生英语综合语言运用能力。学生的英语学习在教师的指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式，实现任务的目标，而感受成功的。因此在Cool animals一课的教学活动时，注意突出了以下几点：
1. 创设情境引导真实语用，突出实践性。我设计了Animal circus这个大背景和listen and circle， watch and check， read and match，let’s say，let’s talk 等各种形式的语言实践活动中让学生体验、感受语言学习的乐趣和语言运用的魅力，培养孩子综合语言能力的同时又让语言来源于生活，运用于生活。
2. 设置主线连接活动，突出整体性。整节课以Animal cirucus 为大背景，用主人公观看动物马戏团的表演的过程，顺利推进对话的教授。又利用谈论喜欢的动物，引入到语言操练环节。清晰的教学主线将看似不相关的环节巧妙地连接，化零为整，体现了教学的整体性。
3. 结合《课标》要求，突出综合性。在本节课中，我通过设置不同形式的活动，合理处理知识目标的基础上进行适当的补充，增加了 What can animals do? They can…等句型，全面培养学生听，说，读，演的综合语言运用能力。
纵观整节课，我还需在与学生进行更加深入的交流；在课堂指令用语方面，语言应更简洁。
