语法重点
动词不定式作宾语：常见动词如want、would like、hope、wish、plan、decide、offer等后可接动词不定式作宾语，如I wanted to see the Beijing Opera，玲玲主动提出带我去，即Lingling offered to take me there .
“it+be+adj.+to do sth.”结构：it作形式主语，动词不定式是真正主语，如It was difficult to understand the words 意为理解这些词很难 .
双宾语结构：give、lend、teach等动词后可跟双宾语，有两种表达，如give sb. sth.或give sth. to sb. ，I gave him a book.等同于I gave a book to him .
学习难点
动词不定式的用法辨析：不同动词后接动词不定式作宾语时，语义和用法有别，需准确记忆和理解常用动词的搭配及含义，如remember to do sth.意为记得去做某事，remember doing sth.则是记得做过某事 .
宾语从句：在含有宾语从句的复合句中，需注意从句的时态、语序及引导词的用法。如Lingling says that the opera is difficult to understand中，从句用了一般现在时表示客观事实，且为陈述语序 .
近义词和短语的区分：本模块有许多近义词和短语，如be famous for与be famous as，前者表示“因……而闻名”，后者表示“作为……而闻名”；还有common、usual、normal等词的细微差别，都需仔细辨析 .
