教学 过程 Step 1 Lead in Greeting. Read and answer the question : What are they doing Read the conversation in 2d and try to find out the answers quickly. Fill in the blanks according to the conversation. Role play the conversation with your partner. 利用问答,引导学生思考并头脑风暴,在思考的过程中自然的感知目标语言,激发学生学习兴趣。
Step 2 Presentation Show sentence structures containing the modal verb can and asks students to observe and identify the usage of can in different sentences. Show the sentence structure of an invitation with a modal verb can, and asks students to observe and identify different sentence structures. Show how to agree or refuse the other party's invitation in response sentence patterns. Summarize the basic usage of can. Show the grammar focus box and ask students to search for modal verbs other than can. Ask the students to observe sentence patterns and summarize the specific usage of have to, must, and might。 Write down the notes carefully. 通过演绎法和观察法,充分发挥学生的主观能动性,语法规则都由学生自寻,老师扮演引导者和辅助者的角色,更有利于学生创造性思维的培养。
Step 3 Practice Read the sentences and match the meanings of “can”. Fill in the blanks in the conversation. Finish the task in plete the answers with might and one of the phrases in the box. Step 4 Production Finish the task in 3c. Write down everything you have to do next week. Choose a day and time to have a party. Work in groups to Invite your classmates to do something with you. Make a report to say who can go with you and who can’t and why. 小组活动锻炼学生的交际能力和表达能力。预测未来培养学生的交际能力和创编能力。
Step 5 Exercise Finish the exercises on ppt. Check the answers by group work. 让学生在课上练习消化知识点,及时操练重点知识点和目标语言,让教师把握学情。
Step 6 Summary Give a mind map about what are learned today. 利用将思维导图给学生进行有序的梳理。
作业 布置 Level A : Suppose your friend Jenny invites you to take part in an activity next week. Based on your next week plan in 3c, write an e-mail message to her to accept or refuse her invitation. Level B : Do more exercises of the usages of the modal verbs and the expressions used for making, accepting and refusing invitations. 检查学习效果,加深对知识的理解和记忆。
