During the past ten years, people have been working hard to protect giant pandas. Nature parks have grown bigger, making more space for pandas to live. By the end of 2015, there are 1,864 adult pandas living in the wild. Zoos and research centers are taking care of 375 pandas. Three of them were sent back to live in the wild. Now, the number of pandas has been increased to 2,239.

My poster
Pandas live in Southwest China.
They are in danger and the situation is
getting very difficult.
First, pandas don’t have many babies
and baby pandas often die. Second,
pandas eat bamboo, but the bamboo
forests are getting smaller.
So the government is setting up nature
parks with a lot of bamboo to help protect
pandas.
Work in groups of 6 to make your own poster for an endangered animal.
If you were a member of WWF, you are going to make a poster to introduce an endangered animal .
Protection:
1. set up nature park
2. save water
3. stop killing
4. raise money
5. protect the environment
6. don’t wear the clothes made by their fur
