设计思路
根据执教教师对远程研修和校本研修的学习内容的把握和理解，结合学校实际条件和设备应用现实，本着最大限度的尝试使用信息技术和实践整合学科教学资源的原则，本课设计如下：1）编制课前抢先预习导学案，录制预习指导微课，同时设计学生个人及小组学习评价单，用以组织和评价课前的自主学习，实现翻转课堂的部分学习任务前置，使学生有个性化学习的体验，养成习惯。2) 设计课堂活动任务单和课堂PPT课件，课堂活动分三个阶段：衔接微课预习、课堂阅读训练活动、话题讨论主题升华。第一环节利用PPT超链接功能，组织小组竞赛活动，验收和发现课前预习任务的完成状况。第二环节利用微视频插入，对学生的阅读活动提供阅读微技巧指导，从skimming 和scanning 两个方面解决分析文章的篇章结构问题和细节信息处理的问题。第三环节运用图片、视频的烘托和渲染激发学生的表达和思考，开展话题讨论，延伸思维空间。3)设计测评练习，查找并巩固学习薄弱点。
教学流程及说明
课前预习：
浏览教材和课前预习任务单的内容，观看抢先预习学习微课，在微课的指导和帮助下，完成三项任务。1）预习理解词汇，把握新词学习要领，做好话题词汇准备。2）阅读小段材料，初步收集有关信息，学习部分短句表达。3）激活原有知识储备，激发对三峡大坝建设的思考，做好新课内容预报。
课堂活动：
课堂活动设计三个阶段：衔接微课预习、课堂阅读训练活动、话题讨论主题升华。
第一环节利用PPT超链接功能，组织小组竞赛活动，验收和发现课前预习任务的完成状况。(本环节的设计目标是评价预习活动的表现，有助于学生重视翻转课堂学习任务前置和养成良好的学习习惯。
第二环节利用微视频插入，对学生的课堂阅读活动提供阅读微技巧指导，从Skimming 和Scanning 两个方面解决分析文章的篇章结构问题和细节信息处理的问题。课堂活动任务单上设计了针对Skimming的Task 1段落大意理解Task2篇章结构理解.训练学生利用关键字和关键字在文中的替换词区分对待重要信心和次重要信息，迅速把握大意，理清文章逻辑脉络。总结三段式写作框架的形式，达到在阅读中学写作的目的。针对Scanning 的Task3 阅读理解单选题注重篇章定位和原文比较的技巧训练。Task4 True or False训练同义改写在阅读题目中的应用。Task5 以文章Summary 的形式总结全文基本信息，同时总结Skimming和Scanning的学习收获。之后设计了Enrich your language的两个练习，观察分析限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句的特点，为本模块的语法学习做好铺垫。
第三环节运用图片、视频的烘托和渲染激发学生的表达和思考，开展话题讨论，延伸思维空间。
设计测评练习，查找并巩固学习薄弱点。
落实课上讨论内容，练习书面表达，教师可以通过文字的表述发现并纠正学生的学习漏洞。
