be supposed to do sth.与be expected to do sth.句型
短语 用法
be supposed to do sth 应该做某事 两者都用来表示根据规定或传统习惯人们不得不做某事或待做某事,可进行互换。两者中to后均为动词不定式,be随人称和时态的变化而变化。
be expected to do sth 应该做某事;被期待做某事
You're supposed to make noise while eating noodles.
= You're expected to make noise while eating noodles 吃面条时你应该发出响声。
It+be+adj.+to do sth.句型
(1)It+be+adj.+ to do sth. “做某事是……的”,it为形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式(短语)。
(2)It+be+adj.+for/ of sb.+ to do sth. “(对某人来说)做某事是……的”
① It be+adj.+ for sb.+ to do sth.此句型中的形容词为描述事物特征的词,像difficult, important, easy, hard, necessary, possible, dangerous, impossible等,是说明动词不定式的。
② It be+adj.+of sb.+ to do sth.此句型中的形容词为描述人物品质及性格特征的词,像 clever, foolish,good, kind, nice, polite等, 用来说明of后的sb.。

3.定语从句
在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句叫作定语从句。被定语从句修饰的名词或代词叫作先行词。定语从句一般放在先行词的后面,起限定作用。用来引导定语从句的词叫作关系词。
例:I like music(先行词) that(关系代词) I can dance to.(定语从句)
结构:先行词 + 关系词 + 其他(定语从句)
中考要求:能辨认出由关系代词that、which、who引导的定语从句,并能理解句意。
