一、教材分析:
本文与鲁科版英语教材四年级上册第四单元 Seasons 相匹配,本单元的四个语篇从不同角度谈论季节,单元内各语篇与单元主题之间,以及各语篇之间相互关联,构成四个子主题,即“认识四季”“感受四季”“热爱四季”“感悟四季”。
本节绘本故事是在课文的基础上的扩展和延伸,主要讲述了小树叶在四季的经历:在春日中伸展,在春风中舞蹈,在春雨中淋浴,在夏日中成长并为人类奉献树荫,在秋日着霜并变换颜色,在冬日离开大树,化作春泥滋养大树,来年大树长出新的树叶,生命在四季变换
中轮回。学生通过阅读绘本故事,了解如何描述小树叶在四季的经历,感受生命在四季轮回中成长并充满希望,激发学生享受四季生活、尊重生命、热爱自然、保护自然的情感。同时引导学生感悟随着季节的推移,小树叶和好朋友们的心情变化,体会小树叶的伟大,进而迸发出热爱自然,保护自然生态的美好情感。
该绘本为配图故事,通过精美的插图和简洁明快的文字相结合,按照季节顺序呈现为四个部分,采用一般现在时,对小树叶在四个季节的活动进行了描述,语言简洁、生动、富有韵律感,凸显出绘本的主题意义。
二、学情分析:
四年级学生年龄在十岁左右,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象,爱唱、爱跳、爱玩、善于模仿,敢于开口。通过两个学期的学习,他们已经掌握了一些常用的问候语和对话,有了一定的词汇量,能听懂简单的课堂用语,能根据老师的指挥做出适当的回应。但是,他们的注意力时间仍然比较短。所以设计课堂活动的时候要有一定的思考性、趣味性,能带给他们一定的新鲜感,才能吸引他们的兴趣,才能使每个学生参与到课堂学习活动中。因此,在教学设计时,我面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位。同时,多给他们说的机会,提高他们的口语水平,提升他们的语用能力。
三、教学目标:
通过本课时的学习,学生能够:
1.在看、听、读、演的活动中,了解故事的发展,提取故事的核
心信息,总结故事的主要内容,获取、梳理小树叶四季的变化,感知
和理解故事内容。(学习理解)
2.在图片、板书和语言支架的帮助下,复述故事主要情节,感受
小树叶的伟大。(应用实践)
3.通过读图、观看视频等方式,在教师的帮助下总结保护地球自
然生态的举措,结合生活实际,完成给地球的回信并报告。(迁移创
新)
四、教学重难点:
引导学生深入理解《Little Leaf》绘本的内容,体会小叶子从生长到凋落的生命历程,以及它所传递的关于成长、变化和生命意义的深刻寓意,树立热爱自然、保护自然生态的意识。

Step1 Warm-up

设计意图:引导学生与小树叶对话,形式新颖,能够吸引学生的注意力,同时将描述季节的词汇和句型融入其中,在激活学生的知识储备,为新课的呈现做铺垫的同时,又有助于活跃思维,使学生快速进入语言环境和学习状态。
