75.例文
Dear members,
I am happy to be here to share my ideas with you. As a member of Birdwatching Society, I have known much about different kinds of birds. Among them, I like rare red-crowned cranes best which have a long neck and long legs.
Each time I go birdwatching, I always find that most people treat birds kindly and consider them as friends. Some artists like to paint birds. The birds in their pictures are really beautiful. Also some writers like to include birds in their poems too.
However, it’s sad that birds are still facing some problems. People make space for farms and buildings by making wetlands smaller. Furthermore, some people hunt rare birds to make money. Such terrible behaviours lead to smaller numbers of wild birds.
Birds are part of our lives. So it’s time for us humans to change the bad situation. Let’s create a peaceful world for all the wildlife and ourselves.
Thanks for listening!

Many kids help parents to do housework in the house. They may take out the rubbish, walk the dog or clean the floor. In return, some kids get money or other rewards from their parents, such as 20 minutes to play computer games.
But some people do not think that kids should get rewards for doing housework. One of them is Jane Smith, a parenting educator and family coach. She believes kids may think that they needn’t do any housework if they can’t get anything in return. For example, kids won’t clean the floor if they see it is dirty. But they will do it if their parents reward them for it.
“Every house is teamwork,” Jane said. “A home is a living place for everyone in the family. It’s important for kids to see that we all have the responsibility (责任) to keep our home clean.”
However, other people have different ideas. They believe that money or other rewards can make kids willing to do more housework. It also teaches them real world lessons. They can learn about how we need to work to make money.
Now, there are also apps that encourage kids to do housework. The apps give kids points and digital gifts that can be used either online or in life. With the app Chore Monster, children get digital points after doing housework. Kids can exchange their points for real rewards, such as time to play video games or a trip to the shop. “Our goal is to encourage kids to do housework, so they can get rewards.” says Joe Black of Chore Monster. Kids need positive (积极的) power to make them do housework.
Anyway, action is above all with rewards or not.

A group of swans flew down to a beach. There was a crow (乌鸦) jumping around. The crow watched them and looked down on them.
“You have no flying skills at all!” he said to the swans. “All you can do is to move your wings. Can you turn over in the air No, that’s not for you. Let’s have a flying competition. I’ll show you what real flying is!”
One of the swans took up the challenge. The crow flew up and began to show his skills. He flew in circles, did other flying tricks, and then came down and looked at the swan proudly.
Now it was the swan’s turn. He flew up, and began flying over the sea. The crow flew after him, making all kinds of comments (评价) about his flying. They flew on and on till they couldn’t see the land and there was nothing but water on all sides. The crow was making fewer and fewer comments. He was now so tired that he found it hard to stay in the air, and had to try to keep himself from falling into the water.
The swan said, “Why do you keep touching the water, brother Is that another trick “
“No,” said the crow. He knew he had lost the competition. “I’m in trouble because of my pride (骄傲) ! If you don’ t help me, I’ll lose my life…”

Imagine taking a flying taxi to the airport, or flying over city streets at rush hour faster than you could in a car. Believe it or not, you may be able to do these things in an electric air taxi soon.
An air taxi is a small aircraft-something like a drone (无人机) —that can go straight up and down and carry people from place to place.
In June, a company called Joby Aviation started testing their new air taxi. By 2025, Joby hopes to start carrying people for money. They’ve worked with Delta Air Lines to fly people from their homes to the airport. Joby also wants their air taxis to provide a ride-sharing service in the air. Just like you may use an app to order a car to pick you up, you could use an app to order an air taxi.
Joby’s air taxis will be flown by a pilot, and can carry four other people. They can fly as fast as 200 MPH and can go around 100 miles before the batteries (电池) need to be recharged. Joby says their taxis are both quieter and cheaper. The company wants to ask for about $3 a mile at first. But over time, they hope to bring the price down to less than $1 per mile.
Joby isn’t the only company making air taxis. France even plans to use a few air taxis in Paris during next summer’s Olympic Games. But there’s still a lot to do before air taxis become common. For one thing, governments need to make rules about where, when, and how these taxis can fly. And some people worry that air taxis will add noise and traffic to our skies. Some think that only rich people can use them.
Still, it seems likely that air taxis will be part of the future of travel.
41.What can we infer (推断) from the passage
A.Joby’s air taxis can carry at most 5 people at a time.

Two weeks after getting out of the caves, the judge told Tom, “Nobody will get lost in those caves again. I’ve closed the caves with big metal doors and three locks.”
Tom turned as white as a piece of paper. “Oh, Judge, Indian Joe’s in the caves!” As a result, Indian Joe lay dead on the floor. Tom finally felt safe.
The next day Tom and Huck talked about the money they had seen. Huck said someone else must have taken it from Indian Joe’s room in the tavern.
“Huck, I bet the money’s in the caves! Will you go there with me and get it out ”
“I will if we get in and don’t get lost.”
“That’s no problem. Just through the entrance that only I know about, we can get into the caves.”
So boys started their treasure hunt adventure. They went down the river, entered the secret hole and crawled to the far end of the tunnel. They tied their string to a rock and moved on. They soon got to the place where Tom saw Indian Joe that night. The boys went carefully over to the place. They found a small bed of blankets by a large rock but there was no money-box.
“Look, Huck. There’re footprints and some candle wax on this side of the rock, but not on the other sides. I’m sure the money is under the rock. I’m going to dig.”
Tom took out his knife, started digging and hit wood. He lifted the piece of wood and found a large hole. So they climbed inside it and found the treasure box, about $12,000, which were shared by them both.
Now Widow Douglas gave Huck a home though Huck wasn’t used to the comfortable but regular life. However, to be a member of Tom Sawyer’s Gang, Huck decided to try the new life again.
