The Feyman Technique (费曼学习法) was developed by Nobel Prize-winning physicist (物理学家) Richard Feynman. It's a study method that helps students learn by teaching others. The Feyman Technique has been one of the most effective study methods for many years. For one thing, it helps students really understand something instead of just memorizing information Plus, unlike traditional study methods like re-reading textbooks or reviewing notes, it pushes students to be more actively involved (参与) in the learning process. If you want to use the Feynman Technique to study better, follow these steps. To begin with, choose a topic you want to learn, including sub-topics (子主题). If not, you'll end up jumping between topics without developing a deeper understanding of any of them. The second step is the heart of the Feynman Technique: explaining the topic simply enough to be understood by a sixth-grade student, This requires you to help the child understand by using the simplest and clearest language. This step helps divide indigestible topics into their most basic parts.
Next, review your explanation and try to find any area where you felt that you couldn't explain the topic simply. When possible, it can be very helpful to get advice from someone whose understanding is similar to that of a sixth-grader.
The fourth step is to improve your explanation using the information collected from the third step. Finally, repeat the steps. The Feynman Technique works best with repetition, and that is why going through all the prior (先前的) steps just once is usually not enough to fully understand the topic.
Once you're confident you've learned the topic, it's time to give yourself-a prize. Perhaps like me, enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
6. Why is the Feynman Technique better than traditional study methods

8. According to the third step, who can you get suggestions from

C. A 12-year-old girl. D. An expert in learning
9. Which of the following is the correct order for the Feynman Technique
① Pick a topic to learn. ②improve the weak areas.
③ Explain it in simplest words. ④Repeat the steps until you really learn it.
⑤ Find the "imperfect part" of your explanation.
A.①→③→⑤→②→④ B.①→⑤→②→③→④

Zhang Daqian was born in 1899 in Sichuan. He came from an art-loving family. His mother first taught him painting. He copied lots of great paintings he could see. When we think about scientific achievement, geniuses like Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton always come to mind. These people are often obsessed by their subjects of interest, choosing their fields of specialty at an early age.But is this always the case
In fact, many of the most important discoveries come from a different kind of mind. Charles Darwin was an aspiring geologist when he said to observe faraway lands. He had little knowledge in biology but through his travels, keen observations and great curiosity, he developed the theory of evolution by natural selection.
Another such great discovery was the invention of PCR (聚合酶链反应),which is essential for certain kinds of genetic research. Its inventor, Kary Mullis, barely earned a Ph.D in biochemistry. His time was spent writing fiction and running a bakery until a friend found him a job in biotechnology, where his great idea for PCR was born.
Darwin and Mullis were both natural explorers. Darwin did poorly in school but was always curious about the animals and plants. As a child, Mullis was more interested in the spiders in his grandparents’ basement than anything else.
It may not be surprising that these creative minds developed through play and
exploration. Many educators argue that the classic model of education, in which teachers lecture and students memorize, is misguided. Most children are born with the drive to play and explore, which helps develop important skills. Probably the thinking skills Darwin and Mullis got were developed through this kind of play and exploration.
So, what are schools supposed to do today They should allow our children to step out of the classroom, and encourage them to play and try new things. As Ni Minjing, head of the shanghai Science and Technology Museum, once said, "Every piece of soil, every flower and every clear night sky is a playground for scientific curiosity.

Several stick puppets dressed in traditional costumes are playing and having fun on the stage. They can change their facial expressions and do difficult movements. The puppeteers use three rods to control the puppets from below. This amazing art needs hard work from people like Wang Maowei, a 40-year-old puppet maker from Xiaoyiin Shanxi.
Stick puppets have a long history in Xiaoyi. They became popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Wang fell in love with puppet-making when he was a teenager and decided to focus on learning this skill. In 2008, Xiaoyi's stick puppets were recognized as part of China's national cultural heritage.
Making a stick puppet takes about 40 to 50 days. They are usually 75 centimetres to 1 metre tall and have different costumes for different plays. To make them, you need to understand art and have basic skills. Wang says that traditional Xiaoyi puppet plays use the style of local operas, which are liked by older people. But he realized that to attract more people, he needed to change the puppets’ appearance.
Traditionally, stick puppets are made of wood, which is time-consuming and heavy. But Wang found that craft paper is a better material. It's lighter and easier to put things inside the puppets' heads to make them move. Some puppets can even do face-changing, which is a special skill in Chinese operas.
Journey to the West, a famous Chinese novel, is often shown as a puppet play. In the story, the Monkey King has special powers. My name is Black Beauty. I'm a good horse who doesn't kick or bite people. One day, my owners Squire Gordon and John drove me to go on a long journey. The weather was rainy and windy, but we travelled happily.
We arrived in the town early, but Squire's business took a long time. We didn't leave until late afternoon. The wind was blowing, making a terrible sound.
