辨析：dead/die/death/dying
①dead adj. 死的 eg. The poor man is dead.
②die v.死亡，断气”。
eg. A year later my dog died. 一年后我的狗死了。
注意：die 表动作，是终止性动词，不能与时间段连用。
他的祖父已死了两年了。
His grandpa died two years ago.
=His grandpa has been dead for two years.
③ death 是名词，用来作主语、宾语等。
eg. Her grandfather's death made her sad.
④ dying 既是die 的现在分词，也是个形容词，表示“濒临垂危”“要死”之意。
