The Chinese knot（中国结）
The Chinese knot is a special form of traditional Chinese arts. It is famous in China and has a long history. Every knot is made with a single rope or thread. Dongling tea in Jiyuan（冬凌茶）
Jiyuan is a small city located in（位于） the northwestern part of Henan, it is famous for different kinds of traditional arts. Around this small mountain area, as a hometown of Yugong, Dongling tea also attracts so many travelers from all around China to come and enjoy.
Dongling tea is special kind of Chinese herbal medicine(中国中草药). As far as I know, tea plants are grown on the sides of Wangwu mountains, when the leaves are ready, they are picked by hand and then are sent for processing. After that, the tea is packed and sent to many different cities and places in China. It can clear heat and detoxify our body（清热解毒）, and is especially good for our soar throat.
Jiyuan is widely known for Dongling tea, welcome to our city.

Silk quilts（蚕丝被）
My city Suzhou is famous for its silk quilts. These quilts are made of pure silk（被蚕丝制作）. They're made by skillful worker in many silk factories in the city. The silk quilts are used to keep people warm and comfortable in bed. They are known to be very comfortable because they are light and soft to touch. In addition(此外), they look beautiful as they are decorated with（用...被装饰） beautiful patterns. Many people from all over the world come to Suzhou to visit silk factories and buy not only the silk quilts but many other silk products, too. They are bought to sent to people's friends and relatives as a gift, they are also seen as a bright symbol of happiness and good wishes.

Traditional kite arts
My city, Weifang in Shandong Province, is famous for its kites. An international kite festival is held here in April every year. Kites are loved by lots of people because they rise into the air with people's wishes for a better life(带着人们对美好生活的愿望飞入空中). They are usually made of bamboo, paper or cloth or plastic and string. There are all kinds of kites and they are often painted with colorful drawings. And kites here often have special designs（有着特殊的设计）. People used kites to send a message in the old days. Today, they are used for fun and exercise.

Qipao（旗袍）
Qipao is a kind of traditional Chinese dress for women. Nowadays, there are still some people who are excellent at（擅长于） making gipao. Liang Yuhua is one of them.
Liang Yuhua was born in 1951. She is from Tianjin. She has nearly fifty years of experience in（接近50年的经验） making qipao. She started to learn it at the age of 20. Then she made it her lifelong career. It is not easy to make qipao. Liang has to take more than 200 steps（需要200个步骤） to finish one, including choosing materials and cutting the cloth. These years, Liang has been spending much time teaching（花更多的时间教） students how to make qipao as she worries that qipao making skills are in danger of dying out（消失的危险）. To keep this traditional art form alive, she even sets up online courses （设立网上课程）to teach young people some basic skills.
