设计意图: 用巧妙的任务设计来吸引学生的注意力,激发学生学习的兴趣和动力,是阅读课的常用方法.课本中的人物,学生基本上从或其他渠道有所了解,因此,上课伊始,用图片的形式导入课文,可以活跃学生的学习气氛,既可激发学生学习本课内容的兴趣,又对上节课所学词汇巩固复习,达到一箭双雕的作用.

设计意图: 要求学生再读课文,然后以小组讨论的形式,完成表格,通过第三遍的阅读,使学生充分的认识到中国古代三位先哲的生活,思想以及对后人的影响.让学生在活动中培养小组合作的能力,同时也培养出他们的文化意识和民族自豪感.
填表结束后,教师还需要就这一环节进行适当的讲解,讨论来梳理全文的基本信息,并将其框架作为板书写在黑板上,以使学生对全文的结构了然于胸,为下一步复述课文作好铺垫.

设计意图: 鉴于本篇文章的对象为高一年级的学生,他们的阅读技巧,阅读能力,听力水平有待于进一步的提高,加上学生的水平参差不齐,这个环节中教师应从旁边引导,培养学生自主学习的能力.有些学生有可能因为胆怯或不自信,不能准确的表述自己的思想.

设计意图：让学生四人一小组进行讨论，然后教师进行点拨，让学生在讨论中，自主学习，总结出写一位古代名人的具体步骤，并找出文章中较好的句子让学生在具体的写作中，进行英语语言的实践活动，培养学生在恰当的方式特定的场合中表达自己的观点，将所学词汇，短语，句型在写作中得以巩固运用，从而达到重点，难点的突破。最终实现英语语言学习从输入向输出的转变。
Step5 Homework

设计意图： 部分学生可能上课没有完成相应的写作练习，将作业一作为课后作业布置下去，旨在提高学生的写作技能。作业二设计的目的是为了复习本节课的重点短语词汇，加强学生在具体的语境中词语猜词的能力，并通过运用加深记忆，达到巩固所学知识，强化记忆的目的。
