Philosophers of Ancient China教学设计
一、教材分析: ??本文主要介绍了三位中国古代哲学家、他们的哲学思想以及他们对中国文化的影响。
二、学情分析: ??学生对孔子、孟子和墨子的经历及代表学说都有所了解,但利用英语介绍这些人物的生平经历以及代表学说的能力还有所欠缺。
三、教学目标:
1.知识方面:识记新词,并根据上下文推断其意思;掌握重点短语和相关句型;学习定语从句的特点和应用规律。 2. 能力方面:提高综合语言运用能力,在阅读中提高根据语境猜测生词能力,细节检索能力,推理判断能力等;提高英汉互译和写作表达能力。 3.情感态度方面:通过学习这篇课文提高学生的文化素养,培养民族自豪感。 四、教学重点和难点: 重点:
1.掌握文章中的单词,词组以及重要表达方式。
2.阅读并理解课文,使学生了解中国古代三位思想家及其学说。并在阅读中,使学生掌握各种阅读技巧(预测,略读和查读),提高阅读能力。
难点:
? 如何使学生利用所学的词汇和短语复述课文内容,并对三位先哲及他们的学说发表自己的看法。写一篇短文,介绍相关哲学思想对现实生活的指导意义。
