利用初一年级各班上什么课这个话题来引入新单词，使其情景化，引起学生的兴趣。
设置游戏，调动课堂气氛，并帮助学生复习学过的有关学科的单词，以便能够在句型中熟练运用。
教师用自己的爱好来引出新句型What’s your favorite subject?自然顺畅，并能够让学生操练。并复习形容词然后以接龙的方式谈论自己的喜好。
教师用自己的不喜欢的学科来引出新句型What subject do you not like? 自然顺畅，并能够让学生操练。并复习形容词然后小组谈论自己的喜好。
小组对话引出听力，学生听并填空，对于听力有所改编，但是还是符合初一学生的认知，再一定程度上提高一些学生。
从听力过渡到第三人称单数，并对其进行操练。
小组活动做调查，调查小组成员的喜好，包括体育运动，学校活动和学科，学生在学会知识后能够运用。
作业布置，分为三个层次，不同基础的学生可以自由选择适合自己的作业，确保每位学生都能学习到知识。
