一、be 动词的用法
在本单元中，主要涉及到 be 动词 “am/is/are” 的用法。
1.“I” 用 “am”。
I am a new student.
我是一名新学生。
2.“he/she/it” 以及单数名词用 “is”。
This is my new school.
这是我的新学校。
He is a good boy.
他是一个好男孩。
That book is interesting.
那本书很有趣。
3.“we/you/they” 以及复数名词用 “are”。
These are my classmates.

二、指示代词 this/that/these/those 的用法
1.“this/that” 与 “these/those” 的区别：
“this/that” 是单数指示代词，“this” 指离说话人较近的人或物，“that” 指离说话人较远的人或物。
This is a book.
这是一本书。
That is a pen.
那是一支钢笔。
2.“these/those” 是复数指示代词，“these” 指离说话人较近的多个的人或物，“those” 指离说话人较远的多个的人或物。
These are apples.
这些是苹果。
Those are pencils.
那些是铅笔。
3. 指示代词在句子中的用法：
（1）作主语：
This is my school.
这是我的学校。
Those are my friends.
那些是我的朋友。
（2）作宾语：
I like this book.
我喜欢这本书。
