1、(1) ①neithe ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )r adv. 意为“也不”。常用结构:neither+助动词+主语,意为“……也不……”。e.g.He doesn’t like fish. Neither does his sister.(His sister doesn’t like fish,either.)
②nor用作adv.,意为“也不”。
e.g.He didn’t smoke ,nor did he drink.他不抽烟,也不喝酒。
(2)neither of+代词或名词复数,此结构作主语时,谓语动词常用单数形式
e.g.Neither of the stories was true.两个故事都不是真的。
(3)用作adj.,意为“两者没有一个,两者都不”,表示全部否定,与单数名词连用。
e.g.Neither story is interesting.两个故事都没有趣。
(4)neither…nor…意为“既不……也不……”,连接主语时,动词与靠近它的主语一致。
e.g.①He neither drinks nor smokes.他既不喝酒也不抽烟。
②I’m neither for nor against it.我既不赞成,也不反对。
③Neither you nor I am right.你和我都不对。
