Step1: Lead-in and warm up
Ask the Ss to watch a picture part by part and guess which season it is. Say what the weather is like in spring.
Q: 1. Guess which season it is about?
2. What is the weather like in spring?
The Ss look at the picture.
Five or six students describe the weather in spring
Lead in the new concept.

Step2: New Concept:
(T: Which program on TV always talks about the weather? Here’s today’s weather report. And you can also see three sentences that describe the weather. Look carefully and choose “T” or “F”)
⑴The weather in Shijiazhuang is as warm as that in Baoding.
⑵The temperature in Kunming is as high as 18℃.
The temperature in Kunming is as low as -10 ℃.Teach the new words by talking about the temperature in some cities .
2.Do an exercise about the new words.
