教材分析
本单元主要围绕“介绍植物”展开话题。教材为学生介绍了各种植物以及园艺知识,有利于增强学生爱护植物、热爱大自然的情操。
教学目标
1.语言技能:用英语介绍园艺活动。
2.掌握一些基本词汇、短语的用法:
advice, all kinds of, enjoyable, have fun doing
3. 教学重点,难点:
掌握以下句型:
First, you have fun working in your garden. Then, you can enjoy fresh flowers, vegetables and fruit from your garden.
4.情感态度:
⑴ 激发学生发展不同的爱好。
⑵ 激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

四.教学步骤:
Step I Lead in

学生说出自己不同的爱好。
Step II New concepts
1. 教师向学生展示一些图片描述后,提问:Look at these pictures. I like plants very much. And I like to grow plants in the garden. What is my hobby Can you guess
教师帮助学生猜出自己的爱好:gardening.
2. 教师提问:What is gardening about
教师帮助学生回答:It’s about plants and growing plants.
3. 教师提问:Have you ever watched a program about gardening on TV Which channel is it on
学生学习单词channel并学会回答It’s on Channel …
(设计思路:通过图片以轻松愉快的方式进入英语学习,吸引学
生对本课的主题内容产生浓厚的兴趣。)
III. Class Activities
1. 展示Mary的照片并介绍: This is Mary. Her hobby is gardening, too, just like mine! She is a gardener. She will show you the best way to grow all kinds of plants on TV.
2. 学生听课文前三段,并回答问题。Listen and answer the questions.
1) When is the TV show
2) What does Mary think of gardening
让学生通过听录音进行选择,录音听两遍,之后找几位学生进行
回答。
(设计思路:锻炼学生的听力,对课文内容进行初步了解)
3. 学生默读课文,完成Let’s do it!① Read the lesson and choose the correct answers.
(设计思路:默读课文并根据问题在课文中找答案,捕捉信息,目
的是提升学生的阅读理解能力,对课文加深了解)
4. 学生再次默读,进一步了解课文内容并相互提问。
1) What will Mary show us
2) What does she have for every gardener
What questions will she give her answers
Why does she like gardening
What will Mary do on TV
Why does she like roses
How can you get your answer if you have questions
What else will she do in every show
(设计思路:培养学生自主学习的能力,通过相互提问,深入理解课文内容,并在同学和教师的帮助下解决困难,发挥小组合作的优势。)
5. 听录音并完成Let’s do it②。
6. 完成Let’s do it ③。Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in the box.
7. 学生大声朗读课文,并展示。
(设计思路:纠正学生的发音,锻炼学生朗读的能力,对课文再次
熟悉。)
8. 小组活动:假如你写信给Mary,想问她有关园艺的什么问题?
先组内讨论,再把讨论内容写到彩纸上,做成一封信,展示之后
张贴。
(设计思路:通过情境,调动学生的积极性。锻炼学生的写作能
力,并激发爱护植物、热爱大自然的情怀。)

Write about your hobby.
(设计思路:学生可以运用本节课所学短语、句型,完成输入到输
