neither 作为代词,意为“两者都不”,常用作单数,但口语中也有当作复数的情形,所以neither of+名词复数作主语时,谓语动词用单、复数都可以,不过现在多习惯用单数.
例如：Neither of them knows/know me.他们两个都不认识我
