By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. know some information about borrowed words through reading;
2. develop a proper attitude towards the borrowed words;
3. analyze the advantages and disadvantages about the borrowed words.

2. Develop a right attitude towards the borrowed words and the dialects.

Step 1 Brainstorming
T shows some words on the screen and asks Ss some questions.
T: Hello, boys and girls. Look at the screen, are you familiar with these words Do you know where did they originate from
T: Yes, so these words are called “borrowed words”. Do you know any other borrowed words
T: Thanks for your sharing.Today we will read an article to know more about borrowed words. Can you tell me what information you want to know
