Today, it's very common for popular stories to be adapted from the pages and be shared through film. Over the years, a number of literary adaptations(文学改编作品) have come to the big screen. Here are some examples.

▲ People can develop the analytical(分析性的) thinking skills by watching a film adaptation of a book they have already read. For example, when watching a film adaptation, we can't help considering whether the director interpreted (演绎) a relationship between characters in the same way as we do while reading the book. Perhaps the characters are very different from the ones we pictured in our mind when reading the written story. Then we may think of whose understanding is closer to the writer's meaning. Moreover, watching a film based on (根据) someone else's understanding of a written story allows us to see what the director and the actors/ actresses think of the story.
So, whether you are plann ng to see the new film A Man called Otto, or take Harry Potter out of your film list, first spend time recalling your understanding of the story. And then you can enjoy seeing it in a new way, through the eyes of the directors and actors.
It truly brings us lots of fun when we see our favorite characters appear on the screen, especially when the directors/ actors have the same opinions about them as we do.
