What’s the matter?=What’s wrong/the trouble?用来询问病情或某人遇到什么麻烦。其后跟询问的对象时,与介词 with 连用。答语常为表示身体状况或者表达所处困境的句式。当表示某人生病时一般用“have+a/an+表示病的名词”, 意为“得……病”, 如have a cold, have a stomachache, have a fever, have a sore back等。
