Step 1 Warm-up
1.Greeting
2.观看微课《复习一般将来时》
设计意图:为了唤起学生对一般将来时的认知记忆
Step 2 Pre-reading
T: Today, Mike got a surprise. Look, it's a letter. What's the letter about Look and listen. Mike receive an invitation. (展示邀请函的图片,帮助学生理解) Let's guess.
What is the invitation about
A. A birthday party. B. A farewell party. C. A meeting.
设计意图:通过学生对邀请函的一些猜测发散学生的思维能力
Step 3 While-reading
1. Read Para 1 and 2
T: First, read paragraph 1 and 2and then answer three simple questions.
(Read the invitation and underline the key words)
What's the invitation about When is the party Where is the party
设计意图:通过快速阅读回答问题,理解第一、二段的中心思想,并培养学生快速阅读的能力。
(2)Group work
T: Read and discuss the question below. Why will they have the party
设计意图:通过细读回答问题,学习一些新单词并进一步理解课文,从而提高学生运用自然拼读法试拼生词、遇到生词联系上下文猜词义的能力。
2. Read the rest of the invitation
T: Read the rest of the invitation and then answer the question .

Summary: 一般将来时的动词结构:be going to +动原/will+动原
设计意图:通过一个有目的的阅读找到段落大意,并自主归纳出文章的主要时态—一般将来时的用法,进一步巩固一般现在时的用法。
Step 4 Post-reading
1. Listen and fill
T: Help Mike write a reply.
设计意图:通过听音选词提高学生的听力能力并学习到如何写回执。
2. Emotion Education
Encourage students to cherish their friendship.
设计意图:通过观看昔日同学在一起的照片唤起学生的回忆从而鼓励学生珍惜友谊。从而引出我们将要开一个派对,过渡到下一个任务。
Step 5 Extension
1. Group work (Write an invitation)
T: We are going to have a farewell party in our class, too. You can invite your friends to come. But first, you should write an invitation to your friends.
(1)Talk about the party in groups.

设计意图:通过小组讨论口头练习了一般将来时的用法达到了学以致用的效果。

设计意图:通过小组互相帮助、分工合作完成一篇邀请函,帮助学生复习怎样写邀请函,并提高了学生的团队合作精神。
