根据“one of the greatest encyclopedias written in Chinese”可知它被认为是最伟大的中文百科全书之一,be considered“被认为”,被动语态,故填(c)onsidered。

51. when he would come/be
52. Eating too much for
【详解】吃太多:eat too much,在句中作主语,所以用动名词短语;be not good for“对…… 故填Eating;too;much;for。
53. How careless
故填How;careless。
54. on weekdays
故填on;weekdays。
55. shouldn’t be laughed at
故填shouldn’t;be;laughed;at
56. no interest losing weight
没有兴趣”,用have no interest in,因此第一个空格填interest in;lose weight意为“减肥”,作介词in的宾语,lose用动名词形式losing。故填no;interest;losing;weight。
57. fixed/focused on in silence
“目光集中”可以用focus one’s eyes on和fix one’s eyes on来表达,根据“He thought”可知,该题应用一般过去时;“沉默地”可以用in silence表达。故填fixed/focused;on;in;silence。
