专题09阅读理解(20篇)
一、Educators worry about students turning to ChatGPT, the AI chatbot that can produce clear answers to difficult questions, to help them complete assignments. Many teachers don’t allow their students to use it in writing. But I am telling my students that they are free to use ChatGPT in their writing assignments.
To keep competitive throughout their lives, students need to learn how to use ChatGPT to produce valuable works. They need to learn to write well-organized articles with a mix of AI-generated text and traditional writing. Also professionals (专业人士) need to learn how to improve human creativity with AI.
Many students will be unable to refuse the temptation (诱惑) to seek AI help with their writing. And how would an educational institution enforce a ChatGPT ban (禁令) While there are tools aimed at detecting text produced by AI, future forms of AI will get better at matching human writing—including copying the style of a particular person who is using it. It’s clear that AI writing tools will always be one step ahead of the tools to detect AI-generated text in the arms races.
Writing a good article from the beginning needs good logic. Writing is a skill worthy of a lot of respect, one which few of us ever master. But most students don’t seek to become professional writers. Instead, they are preparing for careers where they will write to communicate, explain, request and persuade.
When I was a middle and high school student in the late 1970s and early 1980s, I was told that professional success required good writing skills and the ability to perform long division (长除法) by hand. By the time I entered the professional workforce in the late 1980s, technology advances had left those skills outdated. Education culture can be very slow to change, as evidenced by the fact that many schools today still force children to learn long division—a task they will never have to perform anywhere outside school. With AI writing, educators should stay ahead of the development of technology instead of falling behind for tens of years.

A.Banning AI effectively is impractical. B.Using ChatGPT may fail in the arms race.
C.Copying the style of human is AI’s aim. D.Refusing AI needs support from students.
3.What does writing mean for most students in the author’s opinion
A.It is a kind of skill easy to master. B.It is a must to become professional writers.
C.It is a course to focus on thinking. D.It is a way to prepare for their future careers.
4.What does the author mean by mentioning long division by hand
A.Students refuse to learn useless skills.
B.Education culture changes so quickly.
C.Educators should go ahead of technology.
D.AI writing helps students succeed professionally.
二、Ladies and gentlemen, today I’m honored to introduce something related to the 19th Asian Games.
The ceremonial dress
It is an improved qipao, which expresses the traditional beauty of the East, with its pattern designs mainly inspired by elements (元素) from the Qiantang River tide and the Ten Scenes of West Lake in Hangzhou. The dress is difficult to make and it takes an experienced tailor about 12 hours to finish one dress.
The sports socks
The company uses 32 pieces of Xinjiang cotton as raw material. The socks are mainly yellow, orange and Chinese red, so they look bright and beautiful. The producers try to make each pair of socks soft and comfortable to wear.
The ribbons
The ribbons are made of 100% 6A grade silk. Producers use the silk not only because it is comfortable and cool for the wearer, but also because it symbolizes the city of Hangzhou, which is known as China’s “silk capital”. Each ribbon is sewed by hand, and every craftsman must have more than 10 years of experience.
The mascots
The mascots show the rich cultural heritage of the host city. The Cong represents the world heritage site of Liangzhu Ancient City, whose name comes from the jade Cong. The Chen represents the World Heritage Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, whose name comes from—Gongchen Bridge, the landmark of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The Lotus represents the World Heritage West Lake. The name comes from the West Lake lotus leaves.

三、Halfway between the United States and Japan is Alaska’s Adak Island. It is one of the remote Aleutian islands. It is a place known for its natural beauty. The coast is home to rich wildlife. Purple flowers can be seen along the roads through grassy hills. Hot springs cover the landscape. Snow-topped mountains and the Great Sitkin volcano rise in the distance.
Adak Island is home to the native Aleut people. It is not easy to get to. It requires a four-hour plane trip from Anchorage. People visit Adak to watch birds, climb mountains, or examine one of the many abandoned military bases (废弃的军事基地). People also come to hunt caribou (北美驯鹿). The animal was introduced to the area in the 1950s as a possible emergency food source.
At Horseshoe Bay, brave people can climb down a rope to the coast below and nearby hot springs. At Clam Lagoon you can watch sea otters, harbor seals and sea lions playing in the water and warming themselves on the rocks. For bird watchers, the area is wonderful. And Adak’s strange “national forest” is also worth a visit. This is a small collection of evergreen trees in a nearly treeless landscape.
Adak locals learn to live with very limited supplies. The only food store is in the old daycare center. It is open just a few hours on some evenings. The old high school and middle school now hold the city hall, a healthcare center and the post office. A drink store that was once a gas station sells a case of beer for $50. In most states, a case of beer is under $20.
Food choices are limited. Restaurants and stores are often closed. One eateryin Adak does not open often, but when it does, it serves a large pizza for $28. Reporter Nicole Evatt wrote that it was surprisingly tasty considering how far the tomato sauce and cheese had to travel.

C.The island is covered with green trees. D.Food stores open long hours every day.
4.Which can best replace the underlined word in the last paragraph
A.Post office. B.School. C.Restaurant. D.City hall.

In the late 1960s, when Li Zhenxia was 5, she liked oil-paper umbrellas and dreamed of buying a beautiful, red oil-paper umbrella in a store next to her grandmother’s house. It was too expensive for her family to afford one at the time.
When she was 10, she saw a young bridegroom (新郎) pass by her house on his way to pick up his bride. He and his friends were carrying six red oil-paper umbrellas, and the image touched her heart.
When she was in high school, her physics teacher would arrive with an oil-paper umbrella every time it rained. She and the teacher became good friends.
In 1996, Li’s dream of oil-paper umbrellas came true when she started learning how to make them by herself. Two years later, she produced her first one. Of course, it was red.
Today, Li is a boss and has her own stores. She enjoys talking to her customers and passing on her skills to her students.
“The oil-paper umbrella is like my lover; it has been with me my whole life and always makes me feel better,” the 58-year-old said.
Li’s store in Datong ancient town in Chishui City, Guizhou Province—a town where there is a lot of rain—welcomes many visitors who buy her umbrellas to model in photos, decorate their homes or add to collections, and sometimes even to use for catwalks at shows and performances.
Production involves over a hundred individual steps, from cutting the bamboo and threading (穿线) the pieces together, to pasting the paper shade, drying it in the sun and brushing it with oil. The whole process takes between 15 days and several months, depending on the umbrella’s design, and all the work is done by hand.
Now Li has two more stores, one in Danzhai in Guizhou and another in Sichuan Province. Of her three children, only her eldest son, who is 36, helps with the business, running the store in Danzhai. Her daughter is married in Beijing, while her youngest son is a Grade-3 high school student. Li hopes he will learn art and help her make umbrellas in the future.

①A new study has shown how the colour of a bowl can influence the taste of the food it holds.
②Although it is hard to say what a picky eater (挑食的人) is like, the type may include people who have a limited diet, who have strong likes or dislikes for certain food, who require food to be prepared in a special way, who aren’t willing to accept new food, or who show signs of all these features.
③According to this new study, food was put into two groups in red, blue, or white bowls. While the colour made no difference in taste for non-picky eaters, the picky eaters reported changes in their taste senses based on the colour of the bowl being used. Snacks in red and blue bowls were thought to have more salt than those in white bowls, while snacks in red bowls were less pleasant than those in the other bowls.
④ “This knowledge can be useful for those who want to try more kinds of foods,” says Lorenzo Stafford, a psychologist from the University of Portsmouth in the UK. “For example, if you want to encourage a picky eater to try some bitter (苦的) vegetables, you can try to put them on a pink plate or in a yellow bowl, because this can give him or her a sweet feeling.”
⑤At first it may seem strange that a bowl colour can influence the taste of food, but the research before has shown how light and music can influence eating habits. All of our senses are connected, including taste.
⑥ “This new study can help in treating food neophobia—the unwillingness to try new food,” the team of the study says, and further studies will be required to find out more relationships between colours and foods.
⑦ “Through further studies, maybe we can decide ways to help actively influence a person’s diet, and as a result, their health in mind and body,” says Stafford.
1.According to the passage, who is a picky eater
Tom especially likes hamburgers.
Lucy is able to accept new food happily.
Sigmund usually has three meals a day.
Mary doesn’t care how vegetables are cooked.

A.All the colours made no difference in taste to picky eaters.
B.Snacks in red bowls seem to be saltier than those in blue bowls.
C.Snacks in red bowls seem less pleasant than those in white bowls.
D.Putting sweet vegetables on a pink plate may give a bitter feeling.
3.According to the passage, why can a bowl colour influence the taste of food
A.It doesn’t tell us.
B.Because people like colourful bowls.
C.Because light and music can influence eating habits.
D.Because all of our senses are connected, including taste.
4.What does the underlined word neophobia mean
A.美食综合症 B.消化不良 C.新奇恐惧症 D.暴饮暴食
5.Which paragraphs talk about the meaning of this new study
A.④⑤⑥⑦ B.⑤⑥⑦ C.⑥⑦ D.⑦

Plastic is everywhere. From the food we eat to the air we breathe, tiny particles (颗粒) of plastic—also known as “micro plastics”—can be found in almost anything.
Plastic does not only cause real havoc on our oceans, but also hurts us humans. Scientists have questioned whether eating micro plastics can negatively affect human health, especially if there are pieces of plastic you’re using in daily life, like the plastic cutting board.
A recent study checked the amount of micro plastics found in the carrots cut on different types of plastic cutting boards. At the end of the study, scientists found these plastic cutting boards led to 1,114 micro plastic particles on the carrots each time the board was used. This means a plastic cutting board could make 15 milligrams of micro plastics per cut, and around 50 grams a year—it’s the weight of 10 plastic credit cards.
________
Evidence suggests that micro plastics can be found in our blood and our bodies, and can be potentially (潜在地) harmful to our health. But Dr. LeBeau, the leader of the study, points out that the study does prove the generating (产生) of micro plastic particles, but does not prove the cutting boards can have the negative effects to human health. He said, “In fact, we’re already consuming (消耗) so many micro plastics throughout our day (like in our food or water) , that the micro plastics from cutting boards won’t make a huge difference. So we don’t need to worry about it too much.”
Plus, Dr. Lebeau also talks about the pros and cons (利弊) of using other types of cutting boards. Using a wood cutting board may seem cleaner and safer, but these products may not be completely disinfected (消毒) and it may increase the risk of food-borne illness. “If you would like to avoid both altogether, I recommend replacing your plastic and wood cutting boards with ones that are made from bamboo.” He said.

B.To solve the problems with micro plastics, what else can we do
C.So many micro plastics are found on carrots, what about other vegetables
D.Since micro plastics are harmful, how can we reduce them in our daily life
4.According to Dr. Lebeau’s words, what can we infer
A.Micro plastics are not harmful to humans indeed.
B.Micro plastics will bring more problems in our life.
C.Bamboo cutting boards will be used instead of plastic ones.
D.Safety is the key point people think about while using cutting boards.

A History of the World in 100 objects, a project by BBC Radio and the British Museum, presents a history of the world through 100 objects from the British Museum’s collection.
The objects, most of which are valuable, have brought enjoyment to people all over the world. Those who are lucky enough to see the items in person are able to see the glory (辉煌) of history with their own eyes.
“These from the past speak of whole societies rather than single things, and tell of the world for which they were made, sometimes having meanings far beyond what their original (最初的) makers meant them to have,” Neil Mac Gregor, director of the British Museum, wrote in the project’s book.
I borrowed the book and read it. One item in particular stood out to me. It was a mechanical galleon (机械帆船) —a kind of clock. Its design is based on the great European ships that sailed across the sea in the 1500s. During that period of time, technology was developing at a fast pace, and owning a scientific product was fashionable. The clock, a mixture of the growth of technology and the desire (欲望) to explore other lands, is a perfect symbol of that age.

Grass on the Ancient Plain (草原) in Farewell (告别) to a Friend By Bai Juyi Wild grasses spread over ancient plain; With spring and fall they come and go. Wild fire can’t burn them up again; They rise when vernal breezes blow. Their fragrance overruns the way; Their green invades the ruined town. To see my friend go far away; My sorrow grows like grass overgrown.
The poem “Grass on the Ancient Plain in Farewell to a Friend” is a famous poem by Bai Juyi of the Tang Dynasty. Through the description of the weeds (野草) on the ancient plain, the poem expresses the feeling of farewell to a friend. His friendship is like the overgrown grass on the ancient plain. However, after reading the two lines of “wildfire can’t burned”, he can’t help appreciating (欣赏) it and said: “Living can be easy with great sight (洞察力).” And it was widely praised. 十、One night, John came into the stable, calling,“Wake up, Beauty!”
He put my saddle and bridle on and rode up to the front door of the house. Squire Gordon was standing there.
“John,” he said, “Mrs. Gordon is very ill. Ride to the doctor’s and give him this note.”
“Now, Beauty, do your best.” said John. I went as fast as possible. When we arrived at Dr. White’s house, John told him, “Mrs. Gordon is very ill. Squire Gordon thinks she is going to die. Please go to her immediately.” “Yes, but my son has my horse,” said the doctor, “Can I have yours ” he asked.
The doctor was heavier than John, and not such a good rider. But I did my very best and went as fast as possible. When we got to Berwick Park, Squire Gordon was at the door. The doctor went into the house with him, and Joe led me to the stable. I was glad to be home. My legs were shaking, and I was very wet. Joe was young and he forgot to put a warm blanket on me. Then he gave me cold water to drink. Soon all my body began to shake, and I felt very cold. A long time later, John came back. He covered me with two or three warm blankets, and ran to the house for some hot water. He gave me some warm food, and then I thought I went to sleep.

Jo was the first to wake. She remembered her mother’s promise, and, putting her hand under her pillow (枕头), drew out a little red-covered book. She loved it. She woke Meg up and asked her to see what was under her pillow. A green-covered book appeared. Then Beth and Amy woke, to find their little books also.
“Girls,” said Meg seriously, “Mother wants us to read and love these books, and we must begin at once. I shall read a little every morning, for I know it will do me good.”
And then they opened the new books and read. The rooms were very quiet, and the winter sunshine shone in to touch the serious faces with a Christmas greeting.
“Where is Mother ” asked Meg, as she ran down to thank her for their gifts, half an hour later.
“Some poor men come for help, and Mrs. March went straight off to see what was needed,” replied Hannah, who was considered more as a friend than a servant.
“She will be back soon, so we must get everything ready,” said Meg, looking over the presents which were collected in a basket, ready to be given to their mother at the proper time. “Why, where is Amy’s bottle of cologne (古龙香水) ” she wondered.
“She took it out a minute ago,” replied Jo.
“There’s Mother. Hide the basket, quick!” cried Jo, as door opened, and steps sounded in the hall.
Amy hurried in, and looked rather ashamed (羞愧的) when she saw her sisters all waiting for her.
“Where have you been, and what are you hiding behind you ” asked Meg, surprised to see that lazy Amy had been out so early.
“You see, I felt ashamed of my present, so I ran round the corner and changed the little bottle for a big one and I gave all my money for it; and I’m truly trying not to be selfish any more.”
Another bang (砰砰作响) of the street door sent the girls to the table.
“Merry Christmas, Marmee! Thank you for our books; we love them,” they said together.
“Merry Christmas, little daughters! I’m glad you like the books. But I want to say one word before we sit down. Not far from here lies a poor woman with a little new-born baby. They were suffering hunger and cold. My girls, will you give them your breakfast as a Christmas present ”
They were all unusually hungry, having waited for nearly an hour, and for a minute no one spoke; only a minute, for Jo said, “I’m so glad you came before we began!”

十二、When you open a certain mobile app, there’s usually an open-app advertisement that gets in your way. Some of these ads can send you to another app if you shake your phone a bit. And this has been causing heated discussion online recently.
These open-app ads act like “doors”—no matter which app you open, you may always end up in those apps that have more ads. During online shopping festivals, for example, users are usually led to shopping apps like Taobao and JD.
There are already a number of rules on this problem. A rule that came out in December 2022 gave specific requirements for how these “shake-to-open” ads should operate. It said that the rotation angle (旋转角度) of the phone should be larger than 35 degrees, and the time spent shaking the phone should be longer than 3 seconds. Starting from May, the ads must have a clear button to let users to close them.
However, putting these regulations into action can be difficult. The total number of apps is large, making it hard to look into every app. There were at least 2.59 million new apps in January and February alone, reported Nanfang Daily.
However, this shouldn’t be the reason for the mobile apps to step out of these “lines” and take advantage. That way, what all the platforms (平台) really get is people’s complaints. Over 90 percent of users strongly dislike such open-app ads, according to the Jiangsu Consumer Council.
Such ads hurt an app’s reputation (声誉) because fewer users may want to use them after being taken to other apps too many times. To attract the users, the apps should respect their choices and provide them with ads that they can choose to click on only if they want to.
1.What does the phrase “gets in your way” mean in Paragraph 1
A.Prevents you from entering the app. B.Leads you to another app.
C.Forces you to buy something useless. D.Steals your personal information.
2.In Paragraph 2, Taobao and JD are used as examples of ________.
A.apps that have open-app ads
B.apps that open-app ads lead to
C.apps that were discussed heatedly recently
D.apps that many people go shopping online with
3.It is difficult to put these rules into action because ________.
A.it’s difficult to manage the app developers B.users really need these open-app ads
C.apps have more new ways to present ads D.it’s hard to make rules for all apps
4.What is probably the writer’s opinion
A.More ads will give apps good rules.
B.Users mind products more than ads in apps.
C.Apps should let users decide whether to open the ads.
D.Apps have made too much money from open-app ads.

People never stop looking for an explanation on what they lose and gain in life. In 1977, Bridge to Terabithia (《仙境之桥》) was published, offering a new answer.
Like other boys in his class, Jesse Aarons’ dream is to become the fastest runner in fifth grade. He has been practicing all summer. But on the first day of school, a girl crosses over to the boys’ side of the playground and outruns everyone. That’s not a very good beginning for a friendship, but Jesse and Leslie Burke soon become best friends. With endless imagination and optimism, Leslie brings happiness to Jesse, who has been lonely and blue.
Together, they create Terabithia, a magical kingdom in the woods where they act as king and queen. Unfortunately, a terrible thing happens one morning. Jesse hurts his heart. However, this tragedy (悲剧) makes him understand the courage Leslie has given him.
Having had an unhappy childhood herself, Katherine Paterson, this book’s author, would usually give her characters a lonely life. Then she would give them rising hope and happiness. But in order to create “ups and downs” and show her own ideas, the US author would take away what those characters had gained, and end the book with a deep theme. Paterson is good at showing characters’ feelings. Readers can feel the sadness when characters lose something beautiful. 十四、“That Tom is going to make a lot of trouble. He kept putting cotton into Martha’s sack,” Sambo told Legree that night.
“Then we’ll have to teach him a lesson,” said Legree.
Slowly the tired slaves came into the room for the weighing of the sacks. First Legree weighed Tom’s sack, and it was enough. Martha’s sack was next. The weight was enough, but Legree shouted at her.
“You lazy animal! This is not enough! Stay here and wait.”He finished weighing all the other sacks, and then turned to Tom. “Come here,” said Legree, “I want to give you a better job than picking cotton, and you can start tonight: take this woman and whip her—you know how.”
“I’m sorry, Master,” said Tom. “I can’t do it.”
Legree whipped Tom across his face and then hit him with his fists many times.
“There!” he said. “Now will you tell me you can’t do it ”
“Yes, Master,” said Tom, with blood running down his face. “I will work night and day, but I will never whip another person.”

“My soul isn’t yours, Master! You can’t buy it!”
“We’ll see,” said Legree. “Sambo, Quimbo, give this dog lesson.”

“Who’s there Please, give me some water!”

十五、The Hugo (雨果) Awards, the world’s top science fiction awards, were announced on the night of Oct 21, 2023. Chinese writer Hai Ya’s book The Space-Time Painter won the Hugo Award for Best Novelette. He became the third Chinese writer to win a Hugo award after Liu Cixin in 2015 and Hao Jingfang in 2016.
When creating The Space-Time Painter, Hai Ya drew his idea from a famous painting by Wang Ximeng from the Song Dynasty (960-1279). Based on Wang, Hai Ya created a painter named Zhao Ximeng. After many hard times, Zhao’s mind leaves his body and enters a space where a modern policeman is trying to solve a case about an ancient painting.
Hai Ya’s story with science fiction began in his childhood. “When I was a child, the bookstore in my hometown helped create a beautiful garden in my mind that belonged to me only. In it, science fiction offered the most beautiful ‘flowers’. Science fiction opened up a new world to him as a kid,” said Hai Ya.
Hai Ya’s works are a mix of history and science fiction. These two styles seem opposite. One looks back at the past, and the other faces the future. However, in Hai Ya’s works, they find a perfect balance.
“If we can only imagine the future and things in space like rockets, it will only limit our imagination. I don’t think history is something completely in the past. It is flowing, and we can look forward to the future by looking back at history. History is also part of our future,” Hai Ya said.
Science fiction lovers in China feel inspired (激发) by Hai Ya. More Chinese writers today are trying to mix traditional culture with modern stories. 十九、Dopamine, known as the “source of pleasure”, is a chemical that is released in the brain and provides people with a feeling of reward and motivation. Now, China’s young people are seeking to wear that joyfulness on their bodies, giving rise to the fashion craze — “dopamine dressing style”. Mainly characterized by bright colours, this dressing style is described by many Chinese netizens as “healing” and “a mood booster (调压器)”. It is part-fashion, part-mindfulness.
Dopamine dressing is nothing new. In fact, a study published in 2012 found that when participants (参与者) were asked to wear clothing that held some symbolic meaning, their perceived (感知的) confidence increased. The study determined that clothing can have a direct influence on their psychological (心理的) process.
“When we are confident, we are able to exert influence through our confidence alone.” behavioral psychologist Carolyn Mair explained. “When we feel good, we are likely to be perceived as looking good too, as our posture, voice and other nonverbal aspects will be more positive.”
Another 2015 study found that the outfits we wear can directly influence how we think. It suggested that dressing in a certain way can influence the way we make decisions. “What we wear is how we show ourselves to those we interact with — we are influenced by their reaction to it. If we are well received, it boosts our confidence and can ultimately affect our general health and happiness,” Mair added.
In fact, dopamine dressing is different for everyone. It’s about wearing the clothes that make you feel good. It could be joggers and a sport shirt; it could be your favourite pair of jeans; or it could be that dress you were saving for a special occasion. For some, bright colours are what boost their mood.
Colour psychologist Karen Haller said, “Colour is a great way to lift our spirits and boost. our moods in an instant. Our confidence can be boosted when we wear colours that we love and feel good in. We instinctively feel and behave differently around colours because of how we take the colours in through our eyes and through the part of our brain where our emotions reside.”
Ultimately, dopamine dressing is whatever makes you feel good. The most important thing is to have fun with it.

D.How we make decisions is one of the elements affecting the outfits we choose to wear.
3.Why does the writer quote (引用) the words of Carolyn Mair and Karen Haller
A.To stress the importance of wearing fashionable clothes.
B.To show that many people are fans of the new dressing style.
C.To explain how the dopamine dressing style may influence people’s moods.
D.To display how popular the dopamine dressing style is among different groups of people.

①Workers in Canada have made an exciting discovery. Machine operator Shawn Funk was digging through the earth when he noticed something much harder than the rock around it. “It was definitely nothing we had ever seen before,” said Funk.
②A local museum now displays Funk’s discovery. It looks like a piece of art, but it’s not. It’s a fossilized (石化的) dinosaur—one of the most amazing ever found!
③After 110 million years underground, it has turned to stone, from its snout (长鼻子) to its hips. Armor (硬壳) covers its neck and back. Two 50-centimeter spikes stick out from its shoulders. Fossilized skin and scales (鳞) cover its body. Caleb Brown, a researcher at the museum, is amazed by the quality of the fossil (化石).“We don’t just have a skeleton (骨架). We have a dinosaur as it would have been.”
④For paleontologists, a find like this is very rare. Usually, only the bones and teeth are preserved—softer parts like the skin and scales rarely get fossilized. The dinosaur is so well preserved (保护) it even has a little bit of its original color. But why is this dinosaur fossil so different Scientists have a theory.
⑤They think that the dinosaur’s carcass was carried into a river by a flood. It reached the sea, and after a week or so, the carcass sank to the ocean floor. Mud covered it and entered its skin, armor, and bones. After millions of years, this made the creature’s body stonelike.
⑥Scientists have studied the fossil carefully, but it will take years to learn all its secrets. Its bones, for example, are under its skin and armor, and paleontologists need to find a way to reach them without destroying (毁坏) its body. In some ways, this dinosaur is almost too well preserved!
1.Why does the writer say the dinosaur looks like a piece of art
A.It is colorful. B.It is made of stone.
C.It is fossilized. D.It is well preserved.
2.What makes this discovery different from other dinosaur discoveries
A.It is 110 million years old. B.It is discovered by accident.
C.Its skin and scales are fossilized. D.Its bones and teeth are preserved.
3.Where is the best place for the following sentence
“It also ensured that the dinosaur kept its shape.”
A.At the end of Paragraph 3. B.At the end of Paragraph 4.
C.At the end of Paragraph 5. D.At the end of Paragraph 6.
4.Why will it take years to fully study the fossil
A.Scientists don’t want to destroy it. B.Scientists don’t have enough tools.
C.Its armor is very tough. D.It is large and heavy.

1.词义猜测题。根据下文“Some of these ads can send you to another app if you shake your phone a bit.” 故选A。
2.推理判断题。根据第二段“These open-app ads act like ‘doors’—no matter which app you open, you may always end up in those apps that have more ads.” 故选A。
3.细节理解题。根据第四段“The total number of apps is large, making it hard to look into every app.”可知,应用程序的总数很大,很难查看每个应用程序,所以这些规定付诸实施可能很困难。故选D。
