Notice

A Friendly Football Game

A Friendly Football Game
June 10th witnessed a friendly and fabulous football game at our school stadium between our school football team and that from the UK sister school.
During that day, both teams gathered at the stadium at 8:30 in the morning. The captain of our school football team Li Hua gave a welcoming speech. After that, the game took place at 9:00. The moment the whistle was blown, the players spared their effort to play, passing and kicking the ball. Audiences went crazy for both sides and cheered up by yelling and horning.
Finally, when our best player Mike kicked a ball, the score came to 2:1, which meant that our school football team won the game. The audience all yelled hurray excitedly. All the players enjoyed the game to the fullest and interacted with each other at a follow-up party. Through competition and cooperation, not only can the players develop sportsmanship, but they also can improve their understanding of each other especially the football culture in both schools.
The game was a great success and one of the players said it was a rewarding experience when interviewed.
