非谓语语法专题——V-ing
回顾:动词-ing形式作主语
动名词(短语)作主语,往往表示经常性、习惯性的动作,通常置于句首。
单个动名词作主语时,谓语用单数。
动名词(短语)作主语,有时用it作形式主语,动名词后置作真正的主语。此类句式常见的有:
It's a waste of time doing sth. 做某事是浪费时间
It's useless doing sth. 做某事没用
It's no good / use / fun / pleasure doing sth. 做某事没好处/没用/没意思
It's worthwhile doing sth / to do sth. 做某事没用/是值得的
Exercise翻译下列句子:
Swimming in this river is dangerous.
哭没有用。
早睡早起对我们健康有好处。(be good for 对…有好处; early 提前地,早地)
躺在海滩上使人放松。(lie on 躺在…; beach 沙滩,海滩; make sb.+ adj.)
动词-ing形式作宾语( 后宾, 后宾)
一、动词 ing形式作动词的宾语
只能+ 动词 ing 形式作宾语的动词(短语):
避免错过少延期:avoid, miss, delay/put off
禁不住喜欢想象:can't help, enjoy, imagine
建议完成多练习:advise, finish, practise
承认否定与嫉妒:admit, deny, envy
逃避冒险莫原谅:escape, risk, excuse
忍受保持不介意:stand, keep, mind
允许抵制并禁止:allow, resist, forbid
理解感觉与感激:understand, feel like, appreciate

既能接动词 ing也能接不定式作宾语的动词:
doing to do
like, love, hate, prefer... 泛指的动作 具体的一次性动作
begin, start, continue... 意义无区别
forget, remember, regret, stop... 已经发生的动作 将要发生的动作
※既可接to do 又可接动词-ing形式作宾语,且意义不同的常见动词:

动词 ing形式作介词的宾语
常见的介词+V-ing:about, of, at, for, on, in, like...
set about着手做, be fond of喜欢, be good at擅长, stand for代表,
insist on 坚持, be interested in对……感兴趣, feel like想要, ...
be tired of对……厌烦 be afraid of害怕 succeed in成功地做……
to作介词常见的短语:
be/get used to习惯于, get down to开始做, lead to导致, devote…to献身于
look forward to期待, stick to坚持, pay attention to注意, ...
object to 反对…, accustom oneself to… 习惯于
省略介词+V-ing 的结构

动名词作表语:
既具有 的性质和特征,又具有 的性质和特征。
