Have you ever told yourself that you're going to go on a healthy diet It started off great, but after a couple of days when you saw a huge piece of your favorite chocolate cake sitting on the table, you couldn't help but go back to your old not-so-healthy eating habits. It's like a cycle actually, and it does happen to most of us — a healthy diet for a couple of weeks, a not-so-healthy one for the next, and then back to eating the healthy one. It just goes round and round. So, what exactly do we need to do so that we can maintain a healthy diet For this, we're going to look into some ways that will allow us to eat a healthy diet while enjoying every meal.
Eating a healthy diet is not as hard as it looks. It starts with learning what you should eat, and how you should do so. Knowing the results of every food you eat is also imperative. Say, for example, you eat a lot of salty foods today. Knowing what will happen to you in ten years' time, which, in this case, could be a kidney disorder, will actually let you think more clearly today before going on with that eating habit of yours.
The first step that you should do is to set in your mind that this healthy diet is going to be successful. This is going to be a process, and it should be done step by step, little by little. You really don't need to keep on counting the calories that you've obtained for you'll just end up frustrated. First, think of the foods that you love. For now, think only of the healthy ones. Surely there's a vegetable or a fruit that you love to eat. Next, look for recipes, simple ones that contain these foods. Gradually start from there and you will come to appreciate the other nutritious foods as well.
These simple steps will definitely perk you up(使你振奋) and make you start that healthy diet again. And if you do it right, it will last longer than what you have expected.

A new World Bank report warns that children who do not get enough good food in the first two years of life suffer lasting damage. They may be under developed or under weight. They may suffer from poor health or poor intelligence. In addition, these children are more likely to drop out of school and earn less money as adults.
At the same time, it notes that too little food is not the only cause of poor nutrition (营养). Many children may suffer for other reasons. For example, the study says that mothers often fail to give their newly born babies their first breast milk. This “milk” is called colostrum (初乳). It can improve a baby's ability to fight infections (传染病) and disease.
The study also links malnutrition (营养不良) to economic growth in poor countries. A lack of nutrition in early childhood can cost developing nations up to three percent of their yearly earnings. The study suggests that poor countries could possibly double their economic growth if they improved nutrition.
Africa and South Asia are affected the most by poor nutrition. The study says about half of all children in India do not get enough good food. The World Bank study also notes that rates of malnutrition in South Asia are almost double those in central and southern Africa. Other parts of the world are also seriously affected, including Indonesia, Guatemala and Peru.
The study advises that developing countries change their policies to deal with malnutrition. Instead of directly providing food, the study suggests educational programs in health and nutrition for mothers with young babies. It also advises cleaner living conditions and improvements in health care.

Dear_friends,
As_we_all_know,_we_are_what_we_eat._Therefore,_it's_very_important_for_us_to_form_healthy_eating_habits. However, bad eating habits are still very common among us students. Some don't have breakfast. Some prefer snacks. Some are particular about food and some eat or drink too much. All these bad habits will surely do harm to our health.
To keep fit, we should have various healthy diets, which generally include proper amounts of fish, meat, vegetables, fruit as well as main food. Besides, we'd better have meals at a regular time and proper amount. If we get into good habits of eating meals, it will benefit us a lot. In addition, good eating habits can protect us from all kinds of illnesses.
In my opinion, we should try to develop healthy eating habits to build up a strong body. After all, health is the most important in our life. Only in this way can we have enough energy to study better.
That's_all._Thank_you!
