Book 3 Unit 4 Space Exploration Listening and Speaking Talk about How to Become an Astronaut
(Talk about how to become an astronaut)。
1. 在问题“Can you name any other famous astronauts from China or abroad ”的引领下,进行头脑风暴,说出部分世界上著名的宇航员,从而被激发学习兴趣;
2. 带着问题“Do you know anything about selection procedures ”观看视频,猜测出宇航员选拔的要求;
3. 在第一次聆听听力材料时通判断正误准确把握事实细节;
4. 在第二次聆听听力材料时有效获取数字信息;
5. 在第三次聆听听力材料时增强对宇航员选拔要求的理解和认识,体会其辛苦和不易;
教师向学生提问“Can you name any other famous astronauts from China or abroad ”,学生进行头脑风暴,说出部分世界上著名的宇航员,通过以下两个问题激发学习兴趣。
Q1: Who are they
Q2: What famous astronaut do you know
Listen to the interview and decide whether the statements are true or false.
_____The audience is curious about how Yang Liwei became the first Chinese astronaut.
_____Mr Yang always believed that he would become an astronaut one day.
_____Mr Yang was selected to attend pilot training with 13 other people.
_____To become an astronaut in China, you have to have 1,350 hours of flying experience.
_____Astronauts not only had to learn how to use space equipment, but also had to do a lot of mental and physical training.
1. Yang Liwei graduated from college at the age of ____.
2. Before he joined China’s space programme, Mr Yang trained as a fighter pilot
for ____years.
3. Mr Yang was one of the ____ pilots who were chosen to train for space flights.
4. At the time when Mr Yang entered the space programme, astronauts had to shorter than ____cm in height and less than____kg in weight.
5. Mr Yang became China’s first astronaut when he was _____years old.
如果你想成为宇航员,你需要满足什么要求?从这些要求中你能学到什么?”;
Q1: Do you want to be an astronaut
Q2: If yes, what requirements do you need to meet What can you learn from the requirements
Sample:
A: You know, I think being an astronaut would be cool.
