任务导学 一.Read the text a ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )nd find the words they don’t understand.二.Learn the new words.三.Learn some language points.(一) 1.Admit 的常见词组有 admit that ,admit sth, admit to do ,admit doing, Admit that 是引导一个宾语从句, ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )后面加句子 表示接受一个事件或事实 Example : I admit that I am wrong .我承认我错了 Admit sth 说明admit是一个及 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )物动词可直接带宾语 表示承认或接受某物,允许做某事。Eg: : I admit my failure. 我接受失败。 This ticket admits one person only. 此券只准一人入 Admit to do 和 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )Admit doing 区别 最大的区别是做和没做的区别: To do 表示还没做将要去做。 Doing 表示已经做过了。但是admit(承认)后通常要接动名词作宾语,而不接不定式。如果接不定式的话也通常是to be eg::We all admit him to be foolish.(我们 都认为他很蠢)。 She admitted him to be right. 她承认他是对的。 Admit doing (admit having done)承认做过的某事 1 I admit breaking ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) the windows. 2 He admitted having stolen the money. 区别在于:事情发生的时间参照1句以 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )现在为参照点(admit) doing .2句已过去为参照点(admitted)用having doing .当admit 用于被动时 be admitted to sth 意思是允许,接受 接纳 Example : She was admitted to the Party. 她被允许入党。 Children under 18 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) are not admitted to the film.。十八岁以下的孩子不能看此电影。 注意不能用be admitted to do sth. 但有be admitted to be +adj Expansion: 1.Admit to =admit 区别是前一个admit 不及物后一个a dmit及物动词。Eg: He admitted to the murder. 他供认了谋杀罪2.admit 往往含有动态意味,所以一般不与 enter, go in 之类的词连用: 没有 admit sb to enter 或go in 之类的搭配。 3 admit of, 意为“容许”、“有… ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )的可能”、“有…的余地” (此时句子主语通常是物而不是人): eg: : The matter admits of no delay. 这事刻不容缓。 The regulations admit of no exception.规章不容破例。 4.派生词admission的用法 作为名词表示准许,允许的意思。 eg :No admission without tickets. 无票不准进入。(二)appear的用法:1. 是不及物动词,因此不能有宾语,也不能用于被动语态。如: 正:Soon the stars appeared in the sky. 不久天空中出现了 星星。 误:Soon the st ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ars were appeared in the sky. 误:Soon the sky appeared the stars. 2. 关于 appear, seem, look (似乎,好像)。如: (1) 三者均为连系动词,均可后接形容词、名词、不定式作表语。如: 他似乎是一个诚实的人。 正:He looks [ ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )seems, appears] honest. 正:He looks [seems, appears] an honest man. 正:He looks [seems, appears] to be honest. 正:He looks [seems, appears] to be an honest man. (2) look, seem 之后可以接介词 like, 但 appear 之后不能。如: Helooks [seems] like a fool. 他看起来像个大傻瓜。 (3) 三者均可后接不定式,但 look 之后一般只限于 to be。如: 正:He seems [appears, looks] to be tired. 他好像很累了。 正:He seems [appears ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )] to laugh at us. 他好像在笑我们。 误:He looked to laugh at us. (4) 三者均可用于 it 开头的句 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )子,但look 之后通常接 as if (asthough)引导的从句,appear之后通常接that引导的从句,seem 之后则可接that和as if (as though)引导的从句。如: It looks [seems] as ifyou’re right. 好像你是对的。 It seems [appears] that he isill. 他似乎病了。 (5) 在there be开头的句子里,可用seem, appear, 一般不用 look。如: There seems [appears] to be something the matter with her. 她好像出了什么事似的。
