精讲 语法知识
动词不定式是非谓语动词的一种,没有人称和数的变化,在句中可以作主语(有名词和代词的作用),通常表示具体的、特定的行为。
一、动词不定式作主语的基本用法
1.动词不定式表示某一次具体的、特定的或有待实现的动作。
To promote the elderly people’s welfare is the purpose of the project.
(2022·新高考Ⅰ卷)
该项目的目的是提升老年人的福利。
[名师点津] 表示单一概念的动词不定式作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
To have a positive attitude is wise when we are let down.(建议信)
当遭遇挫折时,怀有积极的态度是很明智的。
2.it作形式主语,真正的主语(动词不定式)后置,特别是动词不定式短语较长时。常用于下列句式中:
(1)It+be+名词(词组)+to do...
But no matter when you travel,it’s a good idea to make your reservations at least 90 days in advance.(建议信,2023·浙江1月卷)
但无论你何时旅行,最好至少提前90天预订。
(2)It+be+形容词+(for/of sb)+to do...

二、 动词不定式与动名词作主语的区别
1.动名词作主语通常表示抽象动作;而动词不定式作主语表示具体动作。
Miss Johnson thinks being with children is the best part of her job.(抽象,2023·浙江1月卷)
约翰逊小姐认为和孩子在一起是她工作中最棒的部分。
In his opinion,to be with children is the best part of this activity.(具体)
在他看来,与孩子们在一起是这项活动的最佳部分。
2.动名词作主语时,通常用来表示一件已知的事或经验;动词不定式通常用来表示一件未完成的事或目的。
It is widely known that smoking is harmful to health.(经验)
众所周知,吸烟有害健康。
To finish the task will take a long time.(目的)
完成这项任务将要花费很长时间。
3.常用动名词作真正的主语,it作形式主语的句型有:It’s no good (use,fun,help) doing...;It’s a waste of time doing...等。
It is no use crying over spilt milk.
覆水难收。
It is no help taking this medicine.
服用这种药没有用。
注意:如果该句型中用了for引出动作的逻辑主语,就只能用不定式。
It is no good for us to do that exercise.

区分说话者所说的是事实还是观点是重要的。观点是主观的语句,事实是客观的。事实是真实发生的事情,而观点就是你所相信的。通常根据对话者说话的语音、语调、语气以及谈话内容,可以判断出说话者对某人、某事物的看法或态度。

2.解题技巧
此类题要求考生根据对话中的提示词(诸如“I think/believe”,“in my opinion”“to me”等表达)、语气、语调等内涵意义,推断出谈话人的意图和看法。就语调而言,降调(特别是在陈述句或感叹句中)通常表示讲话人的态度是肯定、赞同的,而升调(尤其是在一般疑问句和附加疑问句中)表示对事物的怀疑、惊讶或否定。

一、技法指导
本单元的写作任务是给编辑写一封讲述自己生活方式的信。此类作文主要围绕以下几个方面写作:
1.首先要详细叙述自己曾经不良的生活方式;
2.再以时间为主线叙述事情发展的经过,即从过去不健康或亚健康状态,经过积极的调整,达到现在的身心健康状态;
3.最后表达自己的感悟。
二、篇章结构
本文兼顾书信和记叙文的体裁特点。首先,它具备书信的基本构成要素,包括称呼、正文、信尾敬语和署名。正文部分为记叙文的写法。
第一段:叙述自己曾经不良的生活方式或存在的健康问题;
第二段:为改变生活方式所作出的决定;
第三段:为改变生活方式所采取的措施;
第四段:产生的积极结果。
