Read the job advertisement and answer the questions.
1. How long will the job last
The job will last for 4 months.
2. What are the responsibilities of the job
To monitor the area for algae, work on ships and remove algae from water.
3. What benefits does it offer
It provides accommodation and meals and you can negotiate the salary with the employer.
An effective jobertisement should include the following 6 elements:
1. Headings to break up
2. An understandable & attractive job title
3. Job responsibilities & working location
4. Required and desirable skills
5. A salary range& benefits
6. Your contact details/application instructions
The headings are essential if you want the right candidate to keep reading.
The job title should make sense, be simple and understandable.
The job responsibilities are focused on telling the candidate what is expected of them by the employer.
The required skills should be closely related to the duties of the position, and must be necessary to successfully fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Provide contact information such as email, phone number, and company website.
Read what the three people say about their jobs. Choose one of the jobs and complete the notes. Do research if necessary.
