By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: extract detailed information about apps from the listening material; talk about apps they want to develop which may include the name of the app, the need of users or real-world problems, the main function, and the technologies used in the app. 重点： Students listen to the material about apps and extract detailed information. 难点： The listening material might be difficult to some students to understand.

Step 3 Listen for understanding T tells Ss that we are going to listen to an interview with an app developer, asks Ss to make predictions: 1. Why are apps so popular 2. What are the difficulties in developing an app 3. What are the latest technologies used in apps T explains the Skill Builder to students with example and asks Ss to practice while listening: Listening for Key Words T leads Ss to listen to the interview to check predictions and write down the answers to the questions. 1.
