FIRST IMPRESSIONS

THE FRESHMAN CHALLENGE
I'm Adam, a freshman at senior high school.1 (go) from junior high school to senior high school is a really big challenge. The first week was a little 2 (confuse).

HIGH SCHOOL HINTS
Today, we were glad to have Lisa Osborne at School Talk. Lisa,a former student of our school. She shared her1____________ (suggest) for high school with us.
She said Orientation Day was a fantastic opportunity2 new students to get to know the school and the other students. She advised the freshmen to keep 3 open mind and take part in as much as possible, which was sound advice for sure.

She also shared some moments when she was disappointed and 5 she dealt with them. As a member of the school volleyball team, she wasn't selected for the end-of-year6 (compete). Heated arguments and cold silences are common between teenagers and their parents. One reason for this is that teenagers’ physical changes may result____1 such family tensions.
