教材分析:本节课选自人教版PEP英语教材六年级上册Unit 3 My weekend plan 的第四课时Read and write 部分,本单元话题为周末活动计划,以“人与自我”为主题,以“Make plans reasonably”为大观念,以五个语篇为载体,发展学生语用能力,引导学生学会制定合理的计划。本课的语篇内容为吴彬彬一家的中秋计划,并以日记的形式呈现,吴彬彬描述家人的中秋计划,并展示了打算和Robin一起朗读的藏头诗。
学情分析:本节课的话题是中秋节,学生对这一话题比较熟悉,了解中秋习俗并有真实的生活体验。在三年多的英语学习与积累后,六年级的学生已经具备了一定的听说读写能力,有一定的语言基础,积累了一定的词汇量和文化知识,具有较强的模仿能力和阅读能力,大部分已经养成了良好的阅读习惯。学生在本单元A部分和B部分学习了be going to 的相关句型,这些都为本节课学习做了铺垫。
教学目标:本节课的话题是中秋节,学生对这一话题比较熟悉,了解中秋习俗并有真实的生活体验。在三年多的英语学习与积累后,六年级的学生已经具备了一定的听说读写能力,有一定的语言基础,积累了一定的词汇量和文化知识,具有较强的模仿能力和阅读能力,大部分已经养成了良好的阅读习惯。学生在本单元A部分和B部分学习了be going to 的相关句型,这些都为本节课学习做了铺垫。
教学重难点:能学会为生活制定计划,并以日记题材完成段落书写。
学科德育元素: 通过配乐朗读苏轼《水调歌头》,学生在英文语言环境中感知古诗文的魅力的同时,也进一步了解这首诗的写作背景,进而引出本课话题中秋节,并让学生体会团圆的意义。
2.通过制作月饼活动设置,学生在了解制作月饼的过程的同时,操练语言点be going to和顺序词的使用,体现“用创为本,学思结合的学习活动观”,让学生用中学,做中学,创中学。 3.通过给学生讲我国的上九天揽月的航天梦,让学生树立家国情怀,人人心中有梦想有理想;通过展示古人望月,到现在的探月再到未来的登月过程,让学生心生民族自豪感,树立正确的人生观。
教学过程 Step 1 warm up (1)Greeting (2)Sing a song Watch a video and sing a song named proud of you. (设计意图:本部分重在调动学生的积极性,让学生放松积极参与课堂学习。) Step 2 Presentation Pre-reading Read the poem Prelude to Water Melody. Teacher will read the poem with students , then lead students to find some information about the poem.Students will know It’s about Mid-Autumn Festival. Family will get together on that day.Then lead to the new lesson. T: Binbin is going to make a plan for Mid-Autumn Festival. Let’s have look. (设计意图:通过配乐朗读苏轼《水调歌头》,学生在英文语言环境中感知古诗文的魅力的同时,也进一步了解这首诗的写作背景,进而引出本课话题中秋节,并让学生体会团圆的意义。) While-reading Read the passage about Binbin’s plan with students. Skimming Teacher will ask the question What the passage is about Then find the answer with students. It’ s a dairy. Then grasp the three characters about a dairy : date, weather and body. (设计意图:通过略读,学生获取日记写作三要素,为接下来的写作做准备。) Scanning Task 1 Listen and answer Listen carefully and answer this three questions, then underline and circle the key words in books. Q:When is Mid-Autumn Festival Who are mentioned (设计意图:通过速读,获取文章关键信息,并板书制定计划的两大信息when和who。) (3)Close reading Task 2 Read again and fill in the table. (page 29) Tips: write sentences by using be going to or will and pay attention to change the person. Then check the answers with students and learn some details. (设计意图:依托表格,培养学生从语篇中获取信息的能力,并操练将来时的表达,为进一步写作做准备。) Wu Binbin’s aunt: She is going to make mooncakes. Task 2.1 Make mooncakes Talk about the culture about Chinese mooncakes. Teacher will introduce the different tastes in different districts of China and talk about their favorite kinds of mooncakes with students. Teacher will tell another story about Chang’e. it’s about our space dream. Watch a video about Chinese space dream to the moon. Students will read the poem with teacher and get it’s a acrostic poem. The first letters of each sentences can make up a word family. Then talk about what the family means in their heart. (设计意图:借助藏头诗,教师追问家人在你心目中的意义,引发学生思考并感受家人的重要,进而对学生进行情感教育。) Post reading Free talk Talk about their plans for Mid-Autumn Festival using the phrases we learned in the lesson and before(traditional and non-traditional) Extension Learn how to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival in other cities . Then summary how to make a plan and the key points to make it :when, who, what, where and how. Step 3 Production Task 3 Write a dairy Make a trip plan for National Day Holiday. Students can refer to the material provided by the teacher. Students will finish the first two sentences with the help of teacher and they can finish the rest in groups. (设计意图:学生可参照书中日记题材的短文范例进行书写,并在教师的帮助引导下完成前两句的书写,通过提供给学生适当的支架来降低了写作难度;以小组合作方式完成剩余内容书写,使学生合作探究,互帮互助。) Homework Choose your favorite festivals and collect some information about it. Write down or make a mind map. Try to make a plan for it. (设计意图:作业设计考虑到不同学生的学习能力,难度设计分层有梯度;为增加作业的趣味性,做到形式多样。)
