Ask the students some questions:
1) Mhat is the date today (March 5th. Learn from Lei Feng Day)21·cn·jy·com
2) what will peope in China usually do on March 5th (Present some students’ pictures of voluntary work to remind them)www-2-1-cnjy-com
活动2【导入】 Pre－reading
Exercise A What do you know about…
Ask the students to match the voluntary work with the pictures21教育网
活动3【讲授】While－reading
1. Ask the students to read the introduction and answer the questions.21cnjy.com
1) When did the three teenagers offer to do some voluntary work 2·1·c·n·j·y
2) Who are the writers of these reports
2. Ask the students to look at the pictures, the writers’ names and the first sentence of each report on page 3, and then finish Exercise B21·世纪*教育网
3. Ask the students to read the first report quickly and carefully, and then finish T/F exercise.
4. Ask the students to Read the second and the third reports carefully, and then fill in the blanks.
5. Ask the students to read again to find out more information about the three children whom the volunteers helped most and fill in the blanks【来源：21·世纪·教育·网】

1. Sum up what students have learnt
2. Ask the students to undertake the voluntary work according to the plans the students just made after class and then hand in a report about it.2-1-c-n-j-y
