1教学目标
A. 语言知识:
1.认读单词raise, offer, serious, illness, organize, express, pain, lonely, hurt, courage;认识单词permission, spirits
2.构词法: 如disabled中的前缀dis
B.语言技能:通过观察图片、作者的名字和作者汇报文章的第一句话预测语篇的话题。
C.情感态度:理解那些需要帮助的人,为他们做些义务性的工作。
2学情分析
大多数的学生对本单元的话题Helping those in need 会比较熟悉,所以很容易接受;本课时属于Before you read 和整体阅读的部分,学生能够容易理解.
3重点难点
教学重点:理解主阅读篇章的故事内容,学习核心词汇raise, disabled, in need
教学难点:对短文中的一般过去时和一般现在时的理解。
