Learning procedures
Step 1 Presentation
1. Warming-up: Enjoy some pictures of four seasons before class. Then ask
questions: Which season do you like best? Why?
2. Teach some new words.
3. Ask students to discuss the homework on the worksheet in pairs.
4. Check the answers:
1). Match the paragraphs with the correct descriptions.
2). Fill in the blanks according to the article.
欣赏四季的图片之后，利用问题导入本节课的话题---冬季。接着利用图片教授新的单词和短语。
为了让学生能在课堂上有充裕的时间写作，教师设计了两项预习任务，一项帮助学生了解本文的结构，一项帮助学生理解文章的内容。
Step 2 Practice
1. Ask students to read the article in pairs.
2. Ask students to underline the useful expressions then share with
classmates.
3. Do some exercises: translate some sentences with the useful expressions.
两项预习任务只能帮助学生从结构和内容上理解文章，为了帮助学生更好地完成本节课的写作任务，还需要掌握本文中的好词好句。所以让学生在课堂上大声朗读文章，并同伴合作划出好词好句。接着教师设计了四个中译英帮助学生巩固这些好词好句的用法。

Step 4 Production
1. Write an article ‘ I love _______’.
2. Ask students to discuss the article in pairs .
3. Invite some students to share the article with classmates.
在学生写作的时候，播放关于季节的照片，帮助学生写作。在展示之前，让同伴互助，划出同伴文章中优美的句子和有用的短语，并且圈出错误的地方。
接着邀请几位同学上前展示他们的作品，其他同学进行点评，肯定好的方面，同时提出建议。
Step 5 Conclusion
