Step I Pre-reading
Show pictures of three national parks: The Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, Three-River-Source National Park and Xixi National Wetland Park and ask students the following question: When you think of national parks,what comes to mind first

Step II While-reading
Activity 1 Read for the main idea.
Ask students to go through the pictures and the text and then finish the following exercises.
(1)Skim the text. Match the subheadings with the paragraphs.
