谓语动词be构成的一般过去时的肯定、否定、一般疑问和回答句式:
肯定句 主语 + was/were + 其他.
否定句 主语 + was not( wasn’t)/were not( weren’t) + 其他.
一般疑问句及其回答 Was/Were + 主语 + 其他
Yes, 主语 + was/were.
No, 主语 + wasn’t/weren’t.
一般动词构成的一般过去时
He often goes to school by bike, but today he walked to school.
I live in Beijing now, but I lived in Shanghai three years ago.

动词过去式的构成规则(规则变化)
规则动词词尾加ed, 有三种读音:
1. 在清辅音后读作/t/
例:ask →asked watch → watched
2. 在浊辅音、其他辅音和元音后读作/d/
例: clean→ cleaned stay→ stayed
3. 在t/d后面读作 /id/
例:want → wanted visit → visited
1. 一般在动词词尾加ed
例: clean →cleaned watch → watched
2. 以e 结尾的动词, 只加d
例: live → lived close → closed
3. 以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,
改y为i, 再加ed
例: study → studied carry → carried
4. 末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节词,先双写这个辅音字母,再加-ed
例: stop → stopped
【巧学妙记】规则动词过去式的构成
过去式构成有规律,一般词尾加-ed。
如若词尾有个e,直接加-d就可以。
辅音字母y结尾,变y为i加-ed。
一辅重闭作尾巴,双写之后加-ed。
常见的不规则动词过去式(详见课本 P152 不规则动词表)
am/ is → was are → were do → did
have → had drink → drank buy → bought
go → went get → got see → saw
take → took feed → fed ride → rode
1) She didn't like the food in that restaurant.
2) They didn't notice the sign at first.
3) Baby Bear didn't look in the bedroom.
表示过去没有做某事或某事没有发生
一般过去时的否定形式
加助动词 do/does的过去式 did
Baby Bear noticed the little girl in his bed.
Baby Bear didn't notice the little girl in his bed.
否定句中由于加了didn't, 原来的谓语动词变成了原形。
一般过去时的否定助动词 didn't 没有人称和数的变化。
I walked to school today.
I didn't walk to school today.
He visit his aunt last weekend.
Did he visit his aunt last weekend
Yes, he did. / No, he didn't.
I telephoned my parents yesterday.
Did you telephone your parents yesterday
Yes, I did. / No, I didn't.
注意:在一般过去时的疑问句中,谓语动词变原形。
在句首加助动词Did 构成一般过去时的疑问形式。
肯定句 主语 + 动词过去式 + 其他.
否定句 主语 + did not(didn’t) + 动词原形 + 其他.
一般疑问句及其回答 Did+ 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他
Yes, 主语 + did.
No, 主语 + didn’t.
