文档简介

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
For the past ten years,my dad and I have attended the same school--he as an administrator and I as a student. Our relationship,in and out of school, has been a wild, unpredictable ride.
When I was younger, all that my dad said was doctrine(信条)and anything did I,naturally, copied.I was his little shadow, imitating his every move.We played games together, and stayed up late reading bedtime stories. They were some of the best times.I could count on my dad taking me to school, running into him regularly during the day and riding home with him every afternoon.
As the years ticked by,I hit my pre-teen years.Things started to shift .Suddenly,my dad wasn't the cool guy I once thought he was.He wore his socks too high, listened to horrible country music and laughed too loudly in front of my friends. How horrible it was!He became the source of all my teenage embarrassment. However, the disasters that occurred in school were even worse. The worst one happened in seventh grade. Our class was having a New Year party, and there he was, dressed up as Donald Duck. With a guitar in hand,he sang the most ridiculous song.Just kill me!I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole. So I ran away as fast as my legs could carry me.
This struggle continued well into high school. But then, something unexpected happened. It was around the time of my 10th -grade physics project. The assignment was to construct a wooden bridge that had the best strength-to-weight ratio(比率).All the students and physics teachers participated. And guess what My dad,the only administrator, decided to join in.Instantly, that familiar feeling of embarrassment washed over me,and as usual,I fled the scene.

写作示范一
But hours later my friends ran up to me,their eyes shining with excitement. "Your dad is amazing!" they exclaimed. "His wooden bridge was not only the sturdiest but also the most creative. He even added some small lights to it, making it look like a magical bridge!" I was stunned. I had never expected my dad to be so brilliant. All the while, I had been so focused on my own embarrassment that I had failed to see his talent. That evening, I couldn't stop thinking about what my friends had told me. I realized how wrong I had been.
I gathered all my courage and walked to dad. With my head down, I said, "Dad, I'm so sorry for always being embarrassed by you and running away. I didn't know you were so talented." Dad smiled gently and said, "It's okay, honey. I just wanted to be a part of your school life. " At that moment, all the misunderstandings between us melted away. From then on, I saw my dad in a whole new light.

They dragged me to the exhibition area where the physics projects were on display. There, I saw my dad's wooden bridge. It was a masterpiece, with a unique structure that no one else had thought of. It won the first prize! I stood there, dumbfounded. I felt a wave of shame wash over me for all the times I had made fun of him. That evening, I tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep.
I gathered all my courage and walked to dad. I took a deep breath and said, "Dad, I was wrong. I've been so unfair to you. I should have been proud of you instead of being embarrassed. " Dad put his arm around me and said, "I know you were just going through a tough time. I'm glad you understand now. " From that day forward, our relationship was no longer strained. I finally learned to appreciate my dad for who he truly was.
