文档简介

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
There are always things in our life that teach us a lesson and let us know how stupid and ridiculous (荒谬) we have been I had such an experience years ago.
Progressing into the senior high school, I laid my eyes on the modern campus, the breathtaking scenery and energetic peers (同龄人). The school was undoubtedly newer and bigger than the one I had attended one year before.
Dealing with interpersonal relationships was always a headache for me. The night before, I had made up my mind that I would relate well with my classmates as long as I became friends with those cool and popular guys. To make myself stand out, I replaced my worn schoolbag with a brand new one, with an image of a cute Brown Bear on it.
Lost in the joy of starting my new journey, I went upstairs to my classroom, only to find the walls of the hall were decorated with mathematical formulas. I stood in front of the wall, puzzled. Then, a girl with a plain appearance came up and asked, “The walls are intended to create a study atmosphere where students can memorize formulas as easily as possible. I’m Shirley. What’s your name ” Even though she seemed warm-hearted and friendly, she was definitely not the kind of person I desired to be associated with. In response, I decided to tell her my name anyway. When we reached my classroom, Shirley said, “I hope you lead a fulfilling life here. I’m in Class 348, next to yours.” At that moment, I even had the thought that I wouldn’t meet Shirley any more.
Then, I stepped into the classroom, expecting to find my expected “friends”. A scene caught my attention — a handsome boy wearing Nike clothes was surrounded by dozens of boys and girls. I believed this guy was the most welcomed, so I walked to him and began to introduce myself. I said, “Hello. I’m new here. My name is Eason.” Without looking into my eyes, he simply said, “Sam.” I continued, “Could you tell me how to apply for a student card ” “No, I am busy now,” he replied coldly.

八、写作示范一
I stood there, not knowing what to do next. My face turned red instantly, and I felt as if all eyes in the classroom were fixed on me, making me even more embarrassed. I lowered my head, wishing there was a hole I could crawl into. The noise around me seemed to fade away, and I was left with only the sound of my own rapid heartbeat. I started to doubt myself, wondering if I was really that unlikable.
What Shirley did for me made me awkward and ashamed. Just as I was standing there in a daze, Shirley walked in. She noticed my situation and came over immediately. With a warm smile, she said, “I know how to apply for a student card. Let me help you.” Her words were like a ray of sunshine in the dark. I looked at her, my eyes filled with gratitude and embarrassment. I stammered out a “thank you,” feeling ashamed of my previous judgment of her. From that day on, I realized that true friendship has nothing to do with appearance or popularity.
九、写作示范二
I stood there, not knowing what to do next. My hands were nervously fidgeting, and I could feel my ears burning with humiliation. I tried to force a smile, hoping to cover up my embarrassment, but it was in vain. The students around continued their chatting and laughing, completely ignoring my discomfort. I felt like an outsider, a failure in this new social environment.
What Shirley did for me made me awkward and ashamed. Shirley, who had just passed by, saw my predicament. She quickly walked towards me and said in a gentle voice, “Don't worry. I'll show you how to apply for the student card.” I was speechless for a moment, looking at her in disbelief. Her kindness contrasted sharply with my cold attitude towards her before. I followed her, my head hanging low. I couldn't help but blame myself for being so shallow - minded. From then on, I made up my mind to change my way of making friends and cherish the sincere ones like Shirley.
【答案】
I stood there, not knowing what to do next. Suddenly, I felt so embarrassed and frustrated. I had expected a warm welcome and friendly interaction, but instead, I was met with coldness and indifference. My heart sank, and I felt a sense of isolation and confusion. Just as I was at a complete loss, desperately trying to figure out my next move, I heard a familiar voice. It was Shirley. She came up to me with a gentle smile and kind eyes, saying, “I saw what happened. Let me help you with the student card.”
What Shirley did for me made me awkward and ashamed. I had judged her based on her appearance and ignored her kindness earlier. Now she was the one who came to my rescue without any hesitation or complaint. I realized how shallow and wrong I had been. My face flushed with embarrassment as I reflected on my behavior. From that moment on, I decided to change my attitude and not judge people by their appearance. I thanked Shirley sincerely from the bottom of my heart and promised to be a better person.
