I’m a girl from Class 2, Grade 7. My name is Mia. I like reading.
I like books about history. I know about many heroes and their stories. There is so much fun in books. Reading can not only bring me fun, but also it helps me make friends with others. I join the Book Club in my school and meet my best friend, Emma. We usually share our feelings and thoughts with each other. On weekends, we go to the library together to read books.
It feels great to enjoy my hobby with my friends together.

The Spring Festival is an very important festival for Chinese. It is one of my favorite festivals in China.
The Spring Festival is usually in January or February. Before the festival, people will do a lot of thing to prepare for the day. My grandma will clean the house and my grandma will buy plenty of vegetables and meat. On that day, people from around the world will come back to their hometown and get together for a family dinner at midnight. They will have delicious fish because it stands for enough money. They will have dumplings because it sounds like “being together”. They also chat, relax and watch TV or fireworks. Kids can get lucky money from their parents or grandparents. After the festival, they will take gifts and visit their friends. They send their best wished to each other.

Plant are everywhere around the world. They can’t speak, but they can influence a lot.
First, plants are important in the natural world. Plants can give animals food to eat and home to live in. Most importantly, plants can take in CO2 and they can produce Oxygen. Oxygen means a lot to animals and humans, because they need it to breathe. Third, humans often build things or make things out of plants. For example, we can use bamboo to make houses and we need to make clothes from cotton.
It is no secret that plants are powerful. Without plants, everything will be different. And it is our duty to protect plants around the world.
