My positive friend
My friend Jackson has a very positive attitude. He always tries to find the good in a bad situation. A few months ago, he was laid off. But he wasn’t upset. He said,“This is a sign that I should do something new. I can learn new skills!”
Another time, when we were traveling, our car broke down. I was annoyed, but Jackson said, “this is a chance to explore nature!”
I also remember when Jackson got sick. The doctor said, “ I have good news and bad news . Which do you want to hear first ”
“Either. There’s always some good news, even in bad news,” Jackson said.
I wish I could be that positive.
Whether the following are grammatically correct or not (判断句子正误)
第一组
"Look at the mess you've made!" Lisa cried.
Tom replied, "I'm available on next Thursday."
Tom replied, "I'm available on next Thursday."
"I hope,"she said,"you are not talking about me."
引述的部分可以放在主语+引述动词(如say,reply,ask等)之前,因此"Look at the mess you've made!" Lisa cried. 为正确表达;
引述的部分可以放在主语+引述动词(如say,reply,ask等)之后,因此Tom replied, "I'm available on next Thursday."为正确表达;
I hope,"she said,"you are not talking about me."
Tina at the beginning of the meeting"Time's short. Let's get to the point,"said.
1. Jackson "I don't like going to parties," answered.
2."You'll never guess what I've just seen!" Tom said excitedly.
3. Lisa replied, "I don't know the answer either."
4. Her husband said, "I will never stop loving you."
1. He asked me, “how are you going to find so much money ”
I _______, “I ______ going to borrow some from the bank.”
When the doctor _________ me that I had a serious illness, I ________” I will not give up so easily.
Yesterday Cara said, "I'm thinking of moving to Canada.'
Mike thought, "I really shouldn't have done this.
Mike
Jim asked, "Whose purse is this "
Jim
"I believe in you,"she said.“我相信你,”她说。
"I hate you!"he shouted.“我恨你!”
"Who told you this " she asked.“谁告诉你的?”
"No," she shouted, "I've never regretted marrying you!"
I wil never see you again!"cried
Catherine.
Catherine
Yesterday I asked Laura, "When will you go to Beijing "
I asked, “ I’m hungry, is the dinner ready ”
yes it will in a minute be ready my mom answered
