Text 10
There is a very spe ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )cial dog that lives in Africa. It is called the African wild dog. These animals live in open woodlands, or in the plains of Africa. Today most of these animals can be found in eastern or southern Africa. These animals are beautiful. They have rounded ears and have four toes on each of their four feet. Their fine fur is always different from each other. The fur usually has different colors, so they are also called “the painted wolf”. African wild dogs live in groups that number from five to about twenty. The members of a group are always very close to one another. They communicate with their barking or body language. When someone is very old or sick, the others will help, and they are willing to share food with the elderly and with those who are weak. The family does everything together, from raising young to hunting. When they hunt, they will work together to kill large animals. They also like to eat farm animals. This is unfortunate because they are often shot because of that. Today, there are very few African wild dogs in the wild. In the past, there used to be many large groups throughout the land. They are also becoming fewer because of the loss of their places to live.

When rain starts to dissolve the hotel, the owners just mix up more salt paste to strengthen the bricks.

There's a “cultu ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )re of walking and texting” on the Utah Valley University campus, according to conversations with students, but that's not the main reason Matt Bambrough, the creative director at UVU, came up with an idea to paint a “texting lane” on a staircase leading up to the Wellness Center.
According to Bambroug ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )h, it's first and foremost a design project—the texting lane was a tongue in cheek(戏谑)reference to the college—wide epidemic(流行)of kids walking around with their faces buried in their iPhones.
“You have 18 24 yea ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )r olds walking down the hall with smart phones. You're almost bound to run into someone somewhere; it's something we're dealing with in this day and age,” Bambrough said.“But preventing collisions isn't the reason we did it—we did it to arouse the students' attention. It's meant to be there for people to look at and enjoy.”

A Finnish city is ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) handing out “survival packs” to new arrivals to its universities and colleges, taking inspiration from the country's famous baby starter boxes. The city of Lahti has packaged up a selection of essentials for new students, helped by contributions from local businesses, national broadcaster Yle reports.More than 1,000 students have received one of the packs so far.And just like the parcels given to pregnant mothers across the country,Lahti's offering comes in a cardboard box.
Among the it ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ems new students will find inside is a bus pass for trips around the city, some locally produced sheets and socks, and a pack of porridge,Yle says.Students can also put in the popular Nordic snack salmiakki. The survival pack is meant to introduce students to the delights of Lahti while also serving as a marketing opportunity for businesses in the city.

此处已经有so...that...句式来表示强调,very多余,故应该去掉。
